I've had the Apple iPad mini for about 2 years and wanted something larger with more capacity but still compact. I upgraded to the Apple iPad Air 2 WiFi 64 GB. I based my decision on the great reviews and the knowledgeable information from the Best Buy associate. It has a sleek design and is light weight. I love the camera which takes clear beautiful pictures. I added a protective cover which makes it heavier. I also added the Zagg invisible glass shield as my young grandson plays with the puzzles and games. I am so happy with the iPad. It makes traveling so much easier then taking a laptop. I highly recommend this product.

Great upgrade from the iPad 3

Went to Best Buy on the promotion guaranteeing at least a $200 total credit towards a new iPad Air 2 if you brought in a working iPad 2 or later. I have an iPad 3 that I enjoyed but, due to some wrist issues, had trouble holding for long periods of time. I thought the new Air 2 might fit the bill. I loved the weight and thinness and after checking, BB was going to give me $235 ttl credit (a 185 trade and a 50 coupon). I decided to pull the trigger and couldn't be happier. Associate recommended a new ballistic glass screen protector and I will never use the plastic ones again....the screen is so smooth and easy to navigate compared to the one I had on my iPad 3! This new Air 2 is so much faster and smoother than the older 3. Screen seems sharper and easier to read outside in bright sunlight. Touch response is a joy. I wasn't sure I'd care about the Touch ID, BUT I LOVE IT! Haven't tried the new camera, since I'm not an iPad photo taker; however my wife ones FaceTime with her family and we tested the new front facing camera and you can definitely tell the difference. Also, I am very happy with the new, lower weight. My wrist can handle this new Air 2 without tiring out, like it did with my older 3 model. In conclusion, an even better purchase than I thought it would be and an iPad that should serve me well for many years. If you have an iPad Air, not sure an upgrade is warranted....but if you own a version 1-4 and love your iPad, buying the Air 2 is a no brainier, I'd just spring for at least the 64gb model and ignore the 16gb, which is just not enough storage for this fast, light tablet.

I currently own an Apple Macbook so buying an iPad was an easy choice. For some reason I just didn't think I would use it so much. Boy was I wrong!! This iPad air 2 is so light and thin I take it everywhere and use it all the time now!! I was at Starbucks the over day and got to FaceTime with it instead of my phone and thats pretty cool!. Love the finger print id like my iPhone 6 and got it with the 32gb. Seems plenty big enough for what I use it for and love how long it lasts on a charge!! I use it for movies on Netflix and the picture quality is ridiculously good. If your mostly web browsing, this is the way to go!!!

A decided improvement over earlier iPads

What can one say? It's an iPad, conceived and executed to Apple's renowned standards for innovation and functionality. Compared to my old iPad 3, which I've had for over three years, the new model is lighter, thinner, faster and more reliable, in that it's less likely to freeze or kick me out of an app. Is it perfect? No. I wish iPads had stereo speakers and a somewhat longer aspect ratio, but those are mere quibbles. I almost wish -- somewhat selfishly -- that no further improvements to iPads are possible, if only so that I'll never be tempted to buy a newer one a couple of years in the future.

I recently upgraded from an iPad2 to this iPad Air 2. The difference is night and day in how quickly apps open or even browsing the internet. Maybe Apple is purposefully bloating the iOS to make older devices run slower and get their customers to upgrade, but in this case the newest processor does everything quickly. I also love the touch sensor to log in. Even though it is a minor feature, once you have it you get used to it very quickly. The iPad Air2 is also very light and impossibly thin. It needs a cover just so you don't crush it. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

With a generous $200 worth of trade-in and gift card from Best Buy, I upgraded from my iPad 2 and have not regretted the fresh cash outlay in the least. The retina display, very fast processor, 802.11ac WiFi, and doubling of memory to 64GB all work together to create a more functional, pleasing and convenient experience. Photos and videos are beautifully rendered. Text is sharper and easier to read due to the retina screen and a less reflective surface. Apps and internet downloads fly. It being lighter and more compact makes using it (along with an external keyboard) as a portable workstation quite practical, especially with the included productivity software from Apple and free versions of Office. Cloud interface is seamless. The Touch ID makes having a security setting and password access a minimal intrusion in workflow. I have not been much for using the camera but having viewed my self with the Facetime app, it too is quite sharp and vivid. In short, the experience of using this latest iPad is a substantial and appreciable improvement.

I bought a Macbook Pro not too long ago but it was getting heavy to carry around (especially with textbooks) so I decided to get an iPad as a "happy medium". I was deciding between this and the new mini but I'm soo glad I chose the Air 2. It's slim and light enough for my small hands with a big enough screen for textbooks, movies, etc. 64 gb is more than enough memory for me. I don't leave the house without this thing. I love it! (:

I had an iPad 2 64GB and I upgraded to the iPad Air 2 64GB. The A8X chip makes for a very fast and responsive experience. With this model, Apple did away with the layers in the screen so it feels like you are actually touching the pixels. The retina display is gorgeous with 264 pixels per inch. It is incredibly light and a pleasure to hold, just weighing in under a pound and thinner than a #2 pencil! This tablet also has one of the best batteries on the market lasting up to 10 hours. The rear camera has been upgraded to 8 megapixels, the screen now has a fully laminated display and anti-reflective coating, and Touch ID had been added. Bottom line is if you have a iPad 2 or lower, this is well worth the upgrade!

The iPad Air 2 has a great balance of size and weight. Crisp, bright display. The IOS runs perfectly with equally powerful processor. TThis is my first ever tablet as I used to think that buying tablet is a waste of money, specially when laptops serve the purpose more efficiently. But after using, i found out that its a good alternative for laptops specially while on move. One can check mails, browse and even do office work conveniently as compared to using the same on cell phones. So I would say that tablet is a must have product.

My wife and I needed to upgrade from our old iPad 2s and felt that the iPad Air 2 was the perfect fit for our needs. It's slim, lighter, and definitely faster than our old iPads. You may have some hesitation about the smaller screen size, but you don't even notice it due to the crystal clear display. The only downside, as with all Apple products, when you upgrade, a lot of the accessories you had for your old device don't work/fit with the new one, so keep that in mind as it will add to the expense.

My iPad Air 2 replaced an older iPad 2. The new retina display is sharper with greater detail. the speed of accessing websites, facebook and other Apps is much faster too. Very very quick and smooth so far. Love Siri, the Keyboard seems more accurate with my fat fingers too. I am extremely pleased with the Air 2. Battery life is very good. Might be a little less than my older iPad, but probably because I am using the Air 2 more often and I may have the display brightness up a bit high. All in all, LOVE it!

I purchased this product as a Christmas gift for my parents and I couldn't be more happy. It's a great way to quickly browse the web, take and look at family or vacation photos, and FaceTime. They absolutely love how sleek, compact and efficient the IPad Air 2 is and I got a great deal through bestbuy.com! I spent quite a bit of time reading about the differences between the air versus the pro, and the bestbuy site made it very easy to determine what was most suitable for my family. A great buy!

I replaced my iPad mini with this, and love the extra speed and screen size. There are some better screens out there such as some OLED and some of the Asus tablet screens, but I just like the build quality and OS on this that it will be hard for me to go to anything else...unless Apple gets too crazy with price. Easy to recommend, but if you can't afford I can admit price/performance crown goes to Asus mid/upper grade tablets, but if you have the money the iPad Air 2 is hard to beat.
