I purchased the ipad air 2 because of the powerful 8x chip as well as its size (ipad pro too big and ipad mini 4 too small). The ipad air 2 was just right ! After reading reviews from other customers as well as searching webreviews, many suggested the 64gb. That's what I purchased and I am very pleased both with my choice as well as the great customer service at Best Buy !

I had the original iPad and lately it would not work right or support the new apps. Very frustrating when it kept kicking me out of Safari every few minutes. I wanted something better for traveling to use as my main "computer". I can't believe the differences in the generations. The retina display is amazing. Fast, very lightweight and just want I was hoping for. I had convinced myself that all IPads were created equal - but I was apparently very wrong!

The latest in the iPad series. The Air 2 is light, thin and compact. I can do things on this tablet that a short time ago was only possible on a laptop. The display is top of the line, memory very good and processing is super fast. You can have multiple programs running at once and complex games are no problem. Many new programs for iPad make it more usable than ever. I use this much more than my computer! Recommend to everyone interested in a tablet!!

I used my old iPad primarily for games, but now that I've entered the real world, I needed one for work. The mini seemed perfect for media but too small for work. The pro is just too big and too expensive. This one hit all the high points: perfect size, really quick and snappy, can do word docs and angry birds both very well. Worth the investment to go for bigger, but really invest in 64GB or 128GB because this thing is svelte but also built to last.

I had been using an iPad Air 1st gen for over a year and finally upgraded to the 64gb Air 2 because I needed more memory. I didn't think I would notice much difference in speed, but I actually do! The 2gb RAM and faster processor do make a difference and the slightly thinner and lighter body is very nice, too! This is an all-around excellent tablet, in my opinion!

Apple iPad what more can you say, easy to use, lots of apps available, great display, lightweight and thin.

The Apple Ipad Air2 is large enough to be seen clearly, yet small enough to travel well. Baggage restrictions / limitations on aircraft reduces the amount you can bring on board. The ipad Air2 fits neatly in your carry on and has a large screen to allow comfortable reading. The overall speed and convenience of operation puts it in a category of its own.

Retina display is crisp, slim design, definitely lighter than its predecessors, and good battery life.

This is my second IPAD. I traded my IPad 2 32GB for the iPad Air 2. I am happy to have the quicker more responsive time of the iPad Air 2. I needed more giggabits and the Air 2 64 GBs provided that for me as well. It is lighter in weight and has a sharper image quality which is nice for watching movies and reading text. I also like that Apple updates and improves it's iPads rather than making newer products and making older models obsolete.

I have several iPads and this is by far my favorite. It is so thin and light. The camera is the BEST YET and takes high quality pictures. The iPad is so fast and I love the thumb print ID. And of course, it is so nice just to plug into iTunes to download everything you need. No need to separately set up contacts, calendars, pictures, music etc. Everything is already there. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great tablet.

The old iPad 2 was showing its age. This upgrade is significant. Lightweight, fast, beautiful display. Fingerprint recognition is super cool and the split screen is appreciated. The extra $100 for 64gb is a no brainier, although if there would have been a 32gb option, we probably would have gone with that. Spent an extra $50 for a glass screen protector. Don't know if it's necessary, but it does provide piece of mind.

I have the iPad 4 and it's great. Nothing in the world wrong with it. I was just ready for some change so I decided to get the iPad Air 2. Between my existing iPad and this new one, there was enough of a difference between the two to justify getting the new one. I love how thin and light it is. It seems a good bit faster too. And it's beautiful! I still have my iPad 4 and it's still in an OtterBox case. Not much to look at in the case, but it's protected against all forms of use. I have only used the new Air 2 for light and general purposes around the house and have put the ZAGG "Glass" screen protector on it. Plus I got the Gold one, so I wanted to be able to see it without covering it up with a case. I have just been real careful so far handling it. Anyway, I really like all the new features and think it's a nice device. Hopefully I'm done iPad shopping for awhile though...they are expensive. That's really the only downside to these things. It's still the best tablet out there.

I upgraded from the iPad Air to the new iPad Air 2 for more memory, faster processor, speedier graphics, a better camera and fingerprint ID. It works quite well on all these counts and is noticeably lighter and easier to hold. My old iPad Air case also fits nicely. Highly recommended.

Works well. I applied a gift card toward the purchase which helped to offset the cost. I use it for reading news and simple internet browsing. It is much easier on the eyes than doing those activities on my phone, and more portable than doing those activities with a computer. I opted for the Wifi version without cellular data so as not to add any additional monthly charges to my internet/phone provider. The format is different from both the phone and the computer, so that has taken a little bit of adjustment, but all in all, it's not been difficult. I still have to learn about transferring certain files since I don't use iCloud for everything (such as photos). I'm trying dropbox but haven't worked out the glitches with that yet (due to my learning curve, not the product). And for the purpose for which I got the iPad, it's great.

I bought an iPad 2 when it was released in March 2011. Since then I would eagerly await the announcement from Apple of their new models thinking I would upgrade; however, the subsequent models really didn't provide any reason to. The iPad Air 2, however, was a different story. Its thinness, weight, speedy processor, 8MP camera, and Touch ID added the additional features I wanted and I've been very happy since my upgrade.

I had bought a gold one for my wife for the holidays and decided to pick one up for myself to replace an older 7 inch android tablet. Even though it is 6x's more expensive as my old android tablet, I am very happy with it so far. Excellent screen, great size and weight and the best platform for apps are what I like most. As my first iPad, it took some getting used to but I am very pleased with the experience so far.

I upgraded to an iPad air from my second generation iPad. I was surprised by how much lighter it is and the camera quality is great. It's fast & supports all my apps, music and searching on the web. I purchased the apple case for it that protects it without adding weight to my iPad. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a tablet. I believe Apple is still the leader in tablets & it's obvious once you own one.
