I traded in the iPad I purchased in 2012 for this one and have found it to be more responsive and smooth to use than my old one. I considered am iPad Pro but decided this size better suited me as I use it a lot for listening to audible books and reading books and the larger size of the Pro did not suit that as well

We've been looking into buying an iPad for quite some time. We finally "took the plunge" and purchased the 128GB Wifi + cellular iPad Air 2 on sale at a great price at Best Buy. We've spent the past month exploring the things we can do with it. It is a great portable media device. My wife especially appreciates using it in the kitchen while preparing a meal using recipes she found while browsing online. She also likes using it to watch Netflix while on the treadmill. While we haven't activated the device on our cell phone plan, it's nice to know we have the cellular data capability when we need it.

A lot of improvements since the iPad 2 I used to own. Lighter, faster, 8 MP camera, Touch ID, and in my case tons of memory. My old pad " only " had 32 GB of memory. I found myself deleting apps just to make room for more apps, photos, videos etc. It might take me a few years to fill this one up :) I had to return the first one I bought because for some unknown reason, after the first week, I couldn't turn it off. Best buy, gave me a replacement on the spot, no questions asked. Great customer service on that occasion. The only beef I had was a white Bezel was your only choice. Non of the stores had space grey with a black bezel. A black bezel helps with contrast and framing, especially when viewing media. I am getting more used to it now, but still wish more black bezels were available. Guess it's a difficult call to anticipate what customers will need when a product is put out to fickle consumers. Anyway, I'm pleased overall with the tablet and hope that with the next generation of iPad they will make bezel color choice more available. Who knows, the next generation "Pad " might not have a bezel ??? :)

I bought this for my wife and, even though it sounds dramatic, it really changed her life... well, at least how she reads the news. I haven't read a physical newspaper in years and couldn't understand why my wife insisted on buying a paper. The iPad did the trick. She reads books and the news on it... watches movies, does internet research, keeps up with her email and text messages (she has an iPhone so she gets the text messages on her iPad as well, which is surprisingly convenient). She uses her iPad every day at home and always takes it when she travels. She didn't ask for it and didn't really know how much she would use it, but I had an inkling... and now if it broke we would buy another immediately. Having said that, it's been extremely reliable and is built very well. It certainly seems like it will last until we want to upgrade!

The new Apple iPad Air 2 is lighter, thinner, and faster than all previous versions of the iPad. I used my older iPad for travel, and this version will take up less space, is lighter, and noticeably faster.

The gold iPad Air2 has completely replaced my computer. I use it for any tasks I have. It is more than adequate now that most tasks can be done on it instead of on the computer. I back up every night into the cloud, itunes isn't really necessary.

I would say that I am addicted to my Ipad. It is always with me. I buy my purses contingent on whether or not it will fit in it or not. This Ipad Air 2 is definitely faster than all the rest. I would recommend it to anyone considering it over a laptop. I don't even own one anymore! I see no need.

I love my Ipad Air 2! The bigger screen is awesome for viewing my Facebook, emails, Google searches, playing games and so much more. My only wish is that it was the 12.5 inch size that Samsung offers. But since I'm an Apple user, I had to go with this smaller screen to be compatible with my iphone.

Never knew upgrading my 3rd generation to a iPad Air 2 would be such a difference. not only is it lighter but the battery life is amazing I can go a whole day without charging.

Top of the line for current tablet. Thin, Finger ID, Double App. Plenty of storage with 128GB and LTE for continuous connection, independent of WIFI when WIFI is not available.

I highly recommend the iPad Air 2 (with Cellular). For just $10 extra a month I was able to add this to my AT&T Family Share plan. Contemplating the iPad Pro and this model, I'm really glad I went with the iPad Air 2 as it delivers great performance while doing everything I want. And what's more, Best Buy's great price promotion allowed me to get it for less than half of the price of the iPad Pro.

I purchased the iPad Air 2 to replace an older iPad and was absolutely stunned by the improvements! Everything from the screen clarity to the faster processing, even on cellular, is impressive.

loving my new iPad. Received as a gift for moms day. Love that I can receive phone calls and have internet wherever I go via cell svc, all on the large screen which I need. Very happy and I have always been happy with APPLE products and service.

I do love my iPad Air 2! It's made my life easier. I also love using it to read. I have much more to learn about it's capabilities, but so far, everything I've done on it has been easy!

I had the original Ipad Air and I have to say the Air 2 is noticeably better in every way. I love the gold color !

I had a iPad mini and used it extensively for flying. the new iPad Air is only slightly larger but has the anti-reflective screen and the larger 128G of ram really sold this device.

I have never been an Apple gal but my son has Autism and needed an iPad for his therapies. Only iPad has the best special education and therapy apps out there. There are many pros for the iPad Air 2 and the only con would be that you can't expand with an SD card but 128gb of space will go an incredibly long way and last for many years to come. It is lightweight without being delicate and the fingerprint reader is very convenient! There are many things I've yet to explore on it since my son absolutely loves it too. Even though I've never been into Apple products I have to admit that this was one of the best choices I've ever made for a technology purchase!

I waited as long as I could to replace my wife's iPad 3. I was trying to hold out for an iPad Air 3 but the iPad 3 had become so slow after iOS 8, and didn't improve with iOS 9, that I had to make the purchase now. Compared to the iPad 3, the Air 2 is great. I can't find anything to complain about except to say that I bought a two-year-old device and, given Apple's refresh cycles, I paid the same price that I'll likely be able to buy an Air 3 for in a few more months.

5 people didn't know this so I thought I would mention it... You don't have to activate it and commit to a long term plan or add it to you existing cellular plan unless you want to. This iPad comes with a programable microSIM card which can be used with any provider. I chose a pay-as-go AT&T plan so I can buy one month at a time whenever I need/want to use cellular. Everyone is going to want to sell you an expensive plan, you don't have to go that route.

I upgraded from a fourth generation iPad to the Air 2. I'm extremely impressed with it. It's extremely fast in everything it does, and there's no lag on any apps that I've seen. Games run beautifully and smoothly. The construction is fantastic as well. It definitely looks and feels like a high-end device. I honestly can't think of one thing I don't like about it! I'd urge any older-gen iPad owner to upgrade. It's well worth the money!
