I had managed to avoid all apple products because I didn't want to be sucked into the hype. I bought a kindle fire when they first came out and used it loads for magazines and movies when travelling. It was not good at internet browsing though. I was worried about compatibility with my other devices, having an android phone and windows pc. It's not been an issue though. I didn't feel locked into too much of the apple stuff. I love my ipad and run my life from it. I love it way more than I thought I would. It is more than just a tool. The only issues I have is when I give it to my son to play with. He often manages to switch away from the app I have left him playing with and I find it difficult to get back to it. Accidental swiping between apps seems easier to do than intentional swiping. Not sure how that works.

I bought this because I am visually handicapped and it has many features that make READING easier for me

I am a Sr. citizen but still find the ipad easy to use. It is light weight and has a very clear screen.

I have iPad2 and it gets slower so I replaced to iPad air. It's very lighter and faster than my old one.

Scott at Best Buy-geek squad at 75th and Lemont Rd Downers Grove, IL is the best. Not only great clean up for my lap-top, but great attitude, customer service at the best. Other two times (once online and once in physical store) did not fix the problems permanently. Scott listened to what I had to say, analyzed the situation and fixed the laptop after that making sure what could be wrong with his technical expertise. You rock........

Can't believe I waited so long to buy an Ipad. Purchased the air a month ago and have it with me always.

still learning everything that it does, but its really fast and has all the needed features. Great tool!

Had an original iPad which was OK, but wasn't as versatile nor as fast. The iPad Air is 10x more useful.

It was exactly what we needed without logging into our computer.

Apple really did a great job with this new iPad. I have liked my iPad 2 and iPad 4 but I love this one.

Needed a new ipad and this works great. super slim and light. charges way faster than the old ipad.

Overall this is good tablet. A little hard to learn how to use.

Love my new iPad. I traded in a older version for the new iPad Air. I have a 16 GB, which is sufficient for the amount of music, books, etc. that I need. If I would need more memory, I will just save to the Cloud. Photos turn out great and graphics very clear. I tried a Galaxy 3 Tablet before purchasing, but since I was used to an iPad, I purchased it even though the the Galaxy was cheaper. Works great for viewing videos and movies too.
