The iPad Air is a quality product, up to the high standards of Apple. the iPad Air is lighter and not as wide as previous models which is a good thing, but previously purchased cases and cover will not fit because of the smaller width. iPad Air is also faster than the previous iPad I have owned, noticeably quicker when launching larger aps or online games. One thing that I did notice and was not happy with was the sound. The speakers are located on the bottom of the iPad air, as they were in previous models and are probably the same quality speakers, if not better. However with the iPad Air being so thin, when you turn the volume up past the half way point, every sound makes the screen and the whole iPad vibrate. It feels weird to have the screen vibrating with every touch.

Got the iPad for my grandmother for Christmas. She absolutely loves it! She never used a template before but this is helped her get into the next generation of technology. It also helps her keep in touch with all of us grandchildren. Could. imagine a better gift for.

This tablet is absolutely fantastic. The first thing you notice is the great detail and sharpness of the screen, making reading books, watching movies and reading webpages a pleasure. The design and build quality is also fantastic, you can feel the great craftsmanship when you hold the tablet in your hands. Definitely a great purchase!

I love this lpad Air, can't believe I waited so long to buy one. It is very light, but my case has a rotating screen, so that added the weight right back on to it. There are few choices in good cases right now. The one I have has some flaws that I reported to manufature. The App Store on this device works well. Similar to play store in android devices. I do wish that this device had a back button. Now my whole family has an Ipad we fully enjoy these devices. It was a piece of cake to set up. My mother even set up her own! And I always have to do any IT work for her. Buy a longer apple charging cable 2 meter! You will thank me. Also a twist ink pen stylus comes in very handy. Micro fiber cleaning cloth to clean screen from dollar store, can be found buy reading glasses.

This iPad is much thinner than first 3 iPads and weighs very little, it also very fast because it has the a7 processor, I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for the best iPad at a lower price than the air 2

I love the lightness of the iPad air. I had been waiting for next upgrade to replace ipad2. This upgrade was worth the wait! Love using iBooks. I pages seems t work well with imported excel docs. Battery seems to last well

A gift for my wife. Thinner, lighter, more manageable. Apple's IOS is intuitive and was easily picked up by her. She spends muck less time on the desktop computer now.

For several years, I resisted buying an ipad. I thought that it would be useless because I have an iphone. I eventually bought a 7" android tablet and it worked fine for a while but I really noticed it's limits. I began to need a tablet at work and the android just didn't cut it anymore. When I finally broke down and to the iPad Air, I was afraid is regret spending the money and have the same issues. His was not at all the case. The iPad Air is seriously great. It does everything I need it to without hesitation. I carry it on rounds in the hospital and it even fits in my white coat pockets! It's very light and doesn't get heave when I have to hold it for hours at a time. I have absolutely no complaints about it and am more than pleased with it.

I have used (and loved) my iPad2 so much that I rarely use my iMac or MacBook Pro anymore at this point now that Office365 has been released. Decided to treat myself to the iPadAir. It is AMAZINGLY thin and light. New SmartCover is a real improvement in terms of attachment. Really like the iPad Air, but I do actually miss the additional height/width and larger side bezels. Thinness and featherweight are great, but I have big hands and end up touching screen when I shift my hold/grip on it.

I have now purchased 3 Ipad Air's. We can now face time with all of our family. Searching the internet is so easy it is just like our desktop computer or our laptop. We can now take our Ipads with us everywhere we go such as Lowes, restaurants, etc. We use our Ipads while we watch TV at night. All we can say is FANTASTIC product.

Bought this for my mother because of the screen size and ease of use. I typically buy android products but this seemed to be easier for my 70 year old mother!

Very light weight, easy to carry with a large screen

Ipad Air is quicker and lighter than the previous IPad retina. The battery life is superior too. I would recommend to anyone who really is going to put a lot of Apps or photos on their Ipad to get more than 16GB.

I bought this instead of iPad Air 2 on pre-Thanksgiving sale. Paid 320 + tax while iPad Air 2 was 499. Truly bang for the buck iPad. Still light, slim and super fast for daily use. Very pleased with my purchase.

I was debating between an iPad and another tablet. My daughter was with me and steered me toward the iPad. I couldn't be more grateful. I am not very good with technology but I can navigate my way around and even install my own apps. If only I could remember my password. My daughter helps me when I need a refresher. I find it so much easier to get my mail and play games on than the reader I used to have. But the best thing of all is that I can hold this. My hands are weak and find it very difficult to hold up my reader so I went shopping to replace it. Now I have a bigger screen - great for my eyes, and it is light weight enough that I can hold it and read a book or play a game or send a message. And I have to admit it is fun to FaceTime my family.

I own an ipad3 and was going to trade it in for the ipad air simply because of the lightening charger...I decided to keep the ipad 3 and still purchased an ipad air. It is significantly lighter than other ipad models. The big seller for me was the charging port being the lightening charger. It is made better and is easier to use than the previous standard charging ports which had to be replaced due to workmanship. Because the size is smaller without jeopardizing the actual screen size, it does make it easier to hold. One disappointment is the sound quality; even on the loudest setting it isn't very loud. I am pleased with every other aspect though. It was easy to set up and already having an ipad I was able to maintain all of my apps on both ipads.
