The Ipad Air 2 is thinner and lighter than previous versions of the Ipad. It is great for games, movies, and music.

I got this as a gift for my grandmother so we could facetime. Once I set it up she learned how to use it fairly quickly

Surprised my Lilly with an iPad for X-Mas, and boy she was surprised! First day she had it she had everything synced together. She absolutely love it. Was able to face time with her mom and a baby today and screen quality was great. All around good an easy to use product. Now she just needs a case..... Birthday in a few weeks? Done!

The new iPad Air is Apple's latest, slimmest, lightest release of their hand-held computer. Oddly enough, it's so beautifully easy to use, it's almost doesn't feel like a computer at all. A word of warning - this review is written for people who've never owned an iPad before - and are wondering what all the fuss is about. If you're thinking of upgrading skip down to the "What's great about the Air" section below, or just buy it - it's amazing. Just what's all the fuss about? -------------------------------------- I used to own a laptop for work, and (very occasionally), it'd sit on my lap on the sofa, and I'd use it for pleasure (eMail, watching films or playing the odd game). Then I bought my first iPad, and the laptop became redundant, a boring "work device". Hard to explain, but the fact the iPad is so small and light, and you navigate around with your finger by pointing and gently swiping the screen makes the whole experience a lot easier - a lot more fun. Even my most "luddite" of friends have been won over. It's incredibly simple and easy to use (it only has one main button), and everyone have taken to without problems. It's size and shape also support using it like a book (literally to read a book or web page), but you can also watch TV and films. Personally I'm also paranoid about my password getting "hacked", and someone running up a huge Amazon bill or buying stuff with my credit card on eBay. Well one of the benefits of the iPad (and iPhone) is it's "almost impossible" to get a virus - one of the most common ways to get hacked. This doesn't mean you shouldn't use strong passwords, (both Sony and Adobe got hacked), but it's reassuring to leave the Windows world behind. Finally, I love the way these devices (iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, Apple Mac), increasingly work together. The fact you can start a Pages document on your Mac and edit it on your iPad, or take photos on the iPhone, and in seconds see them on the iPad or Mac and display them on the Apple TV. The thing is, "it just works". What would you use if for?

Perfect Ipad for the long haul. With this one you won't need to upgrade for a long time. Lightweight and easy to use.

Great battery life, awkward to hold for reading. Prefer to use my Ipad mini for e-reader functions, but this size is better for movies and viewing web pages with its larger screen. Although more expensive than other tablet pads of the same size, I much prefer the Apple based OS compared to tablets with an Android operating system.

This I Pad is easy to use and is great for grand parents to see and spend time with grand children 1000's of miles away!

I have been using my new Ipad Air for the past 2 months and I should say that I am quite impressed with it. I have never held an Apple product till now and I was amazed with its ease. There are always challenges for first timers but after that novice period, I am happy for purchasing it. Store Experience - The Apple representative in Best Buy was a bit helpful. We knew what we wanted, so there was not much of a discussion to choose or compare. The Best Buy representatives were more than happy to help us with many of our transactions that took place at the same time. This was a surprise to us as we had pretty bad experience last couple of times. The security personnel were happy to guard my belongings till I got my car and parked it in front of the door. Since I was buying a lot of electronics that night, I hoped that the store might have had more security for customers leaving the store with all their products. Just by going that extra step, would have created a long lasting impression that the store cares for the customers all the way till they are safe in their car. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

This iPad is amazing, I love all apple products and that's all i get. My family as well. So easy to use, lots of apps!

You cant go wrong with an iPad. They just work. If you are looking for an easy to use all around tablet go iPad.

The i-pad has been a great product for my older mom with low-vision. she can read her emails and play games with ease.
