I'm really enjoying the Apple IPad Air. It's an easy an transition from my iPhone to the iPad. It was very easy to set up and download apps. All my iPhone apps and data downloaded easily from the Cloud to my new iPad. It's easy to use and I love the large screen and clarity. The camera takes great photos. I would highly recommend to others.

I upgraded to the iPad Air from the 3rd generation iPad. I traded in my iPad, got a $200.00 gift card, and used it towards the new purchase. If I did a trade-in at Apple they would have given me a lower trade-in value. I shop at Best Buy for the reward points. :) I am very happy with the purchase, the only thing I find hard to find is the case covers for the new iPad Air. Best Buy has some pretty good ones, but I will have to wait. I love how it is lighter then the 3rd generation and it is a little bit smaller which is a plus. Thank you Best Buy

I have owned several Apple products, and the iPad is the most distinguished among Apple's line up relative to its competition. The most compelling aspects of this tablet are the beautiful design, and the 10 hour battery life. These are the two features that made me decide to purchase another Apple product irrespective of their business practices which try to squeeze money out of their customers by not supporting devices properly after they are released. After having used this product for over a month now, I can say it is an improvement over my iPad 1. The browser now crashes on the original to the point of making it worthless. My original iPad had 256 MB of RAM which is not enough to load a lot of modern web pages without the browser crashing. That is why I had hoped the 1 GB of RAM in the iPad Air would be sufficient, and it has improved, yet I still find that the browser crashes on occasion. The scroll latency is very subtle, but noticeable to me. It doesn't really impact my usage, but it could create problems for people who game on their iPads. Putting in 2 GB of RAM (which is what I have in my Nexus 4) does not cost that much, and would improve the performance greatly. For a premium product, I expect the best, and Apple has consistently under-delivered on processing hardware which created the same problems all the way back to the iPhone 1 I purchased on launch day.

this is my 3rd iPad -- I had a mini before this so it seems a bit heavy in comparison, although it is apparently lighter than the regular full-sized iPad. It's easy to use, easy on the eyesight, and the audio is surprisingly good. I have never had another brand of tablet so I can't compare, but it is user friendly and works well.

Lighter than I expected. Battery life has not been a problem. I was glad to get a case on it, as there is less to hold.

I wanted an ASUS tablet, but I was going on price, what some coworkers have, my prior experience with ASUS products, and my reluctance to join the legions of Apple followers. My daughter bought an iPad mini with her birthday/inheritance money and wouldn't stay off of it. Within two weeks of her purchase, she talked me into getting an iPad so that we could face time. Plus, she convinced me that as a designer, my customers would be more impressed that I was using an Apple product rather than a competitor copy. Believe it or not, that's what sealed the deal. I bought the iPad Air because it is the latest and greatest in the lineup and therefore is less likely to go out of date sooner like the iPad 2 and others will. I also liked it's thinness and narrower frame along the two long sides. Using the iPad took some getting use to, as I have only ever had Windows and Android products. My daughter had to show me many shortcuts and maneuvers. I still get frustrated with the way Apple products work sometimes and there are many things that Windows and Android does better and more intuitively. But, I have fallen in love with my iPad Air and it goes with me everywhere. When I'm away from home, I tether it to my Galaxy S4 and the internet speed from Verizon is great. There is no need to buy a costly separate data plan. And don't listen to the naysayer mobile phone salespeople trying to sell you a data plan only for your iPad. With 4GLTE you'll be surfing along just fine, although there is some buffering, but nothing near like what you get with 4G. I love the easy portability of my iPad. I have the Logitech Bluetooth keyboard case which doubles as a cover. I hardly ever charge my keyboard. The battery lasts forever. Speaking of batteries, the iPad is very good on battery power. The usual power munchers will eat up the battery life, but not that quickly. I charge my iPad every two or three days and my keyboard maybe once a week. I am writing this review on said keyboard with the iPad propped up and held in place by the magnetic strip. My android phone has a more sensitive touch screen, though. That's one of my biggest peeves with this iPad. You have to touch the screen and hold your finger in place longer than with a product like my Galaxy S4. It's annoying that Apple didn't include a more sensitive touch screen. My daughter and I went out and bought ourselves some 97 cent stylus pens from Target. They work so much better than a finger and are more accurate. BTW, on that keyboard? It's smallish for large hands. I miss keys all the time, because I am use to a full size keyboard, so I have to backspace frequently to retype, unlike on a regular size keyboard. Final words: I have forgotten that I have a laptop.

I got this as Christmas gift for our 10 yr old daughter, she could not be happier, we have android tablet too, advantage of i-pad is that it has access to some apps that android tablet doesn't. So far she likes it and uses it a lot,- its light, fast and beautiful screen resolution, so happy with the purchase!

I have owned several different tablets from several different manufacturers, running various operating systems. The Apple iPad is still the best. It has the most apps, the most games, the most premium feeling/looking hardware, and the smoothest OS. Even though it is well over a year old, the original iPad Air (the product reviewed) is still a great choice. I picked it up for $350 (vs the Air 2 @ $499), and have not regretted my decision. I honestly would highly recommend picking up the original Air, and enjoying the savings over the Air 2. You can't go wrong!
