The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is that it's a data HOG. I think it's the iOS*8.

I use the iPad to view maps of fields. It works great for what I need, except the fact the you can't see the screen at all in the sunlight.

The ipad is light and easy to carry. Good for a kid but a little slow. My grandson loves it

My 3rd iPad. Loved the first two, this one not so much. Touch screen is very unreliable. Sometimes too sensitive, sometimes doesn't respond at all. Supposed to be faster but seems slower than previous model. Not much new except more storage. Come on Apple, add an SD card slot.

After using all iPhones from 4 years finally moved to my first iOS tablet and it's good to have it.

iPad is a brand name, unfortunately I'm missing the touch ID and mayor updates that is needed.

Perfect tool for downloading song sheets and not have to log a huge binder of sheets.

Battery life could be better but works as expected...its an iPad...

I use it for work, and it is keeps me away from my office.

I upgraded from an iPad 1 with AT&T. The lighter weight is immediately noticeable, less so the smaller size. I have to put them next to each other to notice. The reason I upgraded was the speed and for the retina display. The first generation was no longer being supported so I was stuck with iOS 5. There were some bugs that cropped up with the Safari browser with the final iOS update, causing the iPad to crash. These have been widely reported. Apple did not take the effort to fix them. I guess it was upgrade or deal with slow response and repeated crashing. Having had it for two years I did not feel Apple stood behind their product for very long. Anyway, this iPad Air is fantastic. It operates smoothly without crashing. the LTE downloads quickly, just like my iPhone 5 which I had often turned to when my old iPad couldn't handle the job. If you have been waiting to upgrade, this is a huge step up from any of the older models. The only thing you may not like is the very long charging time required. I also don't feel the battery lasts quite as long.
