I previously had the ipad 1, so this smaller yet faster version is a big improvement. The price of $399 is probably too high, but it's the best tablet on the market right now.

Great price for an ipad 2 with retina. Bought 2 of these for Christmas gifts and I must say that I hit a home run. I was crowned the most favorite gift giver in the house.

As with all Apple products set up is quick and easy. I like the size of the mini vs my regular iPad, which was the main reason i bought this. The retina display is fantastic.

Very convenient and can fit in a purse.. I loved it so much I got one for mom- sync's to every Apple device and is very fast. Definitely would recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this IPAD MINI 2 for my sons 20th birthday and he uses it for everything now school, CLASH OF CLANS, TEAM SPEAK, and anything he used to do on his computer. There is no need to get more memory since u can always transfer to an external hard drive or ur computer. I don't know anyone who wudnt want an APPLE IPAD MINI 2 16 GB for any reason Xmas, bday, or just because. It's an investment and they won't ever put it down. It keeps a good charge too. My son bought me one too but it's white and we are always on them from the time it's charged to the time we need to plug it in and still use it.

Good overal, good performance display good camera Cons: no flash, lags on Facebook if I write something and try to delete it doesn't show me what I edited so I have to start over, battery takes a while before it charges to 100% but after reached it does last a while.

This is my 2nd iPad and don't regret it. I'm a pc user but this is perfect for watching movies, playing games and random browsing. For work, I'd use my surface pro 3.

First Apple product I have ever owned. Hardly use my laptop anymore. Does more than I thought and easy to throw in my purse and take anywhere. Camera is outstanding

I have setup for travel, works great on plane, remove NewTrent keyboard and hang iPad II Mini back of seat in front of you for movies, stand acts as a hook on back of seat and I use a flexible twist for cords to hold top of iPad to secure. Use hootoo to play my movies via bluetooth (not Wifi), don't forget to pair it with a bluetooth, noise-canceling headset (cancels out plane engines out nicely - sleep like a baby). Housed nicely in my Maxpedition fatboy case and 2x 10000Mhz lipstick sized USB Power Supply with flashlight to power up my hootoo on the go & and the other to power my iPhone just in case!

I love my IPad mini, perfect size for me. The camera is awesome, even used the timer to take a group pic for new years. Overall the IPad Mini is awesome. Thanks Apple!

I love the size I can carry on my purse and do a lot of searching and many things more without to carry my heavy computer and is more fast that my smart phone.

I wasn't sure how well I was going to like it. I carry it around the house to check emails and play games.....so far so good! I like that it is compact and east to see.

Small and portable, this ipad mini is really great for the price no need to spring an extra 100 for ipad mini 3 unless you're looking for the apple pay feature,

It's great! This is my 4th iPad. This version has a better camera and is very lightweight. I keep it in my purse both days. I love how it syncs with my iPhone!

Use this little mini every day. Compact size and weight make it a great size for pulling kitchen recipes. I have my security camera app on this and very portable.

I love my IPAD mini. I previously owned a full size ipad, but prefer the mini for ease of use. I was worried it would be too small, but not the case at all.

This retina display replaces her original mini iPad, which our grandson was elated to get. The improved processor helped with the loading problems she was having.
