The iPad mini with retina is fast and has a great screen! While more compact than the standard iPad it is still a very usable size. If you want to keep your iPad with you when you are out and about or travel I recommend this size. You can't go wrong whether you choose the full size or the mini!

The mini is perfect for my research work on my writing project. The mini is less obtrusive than my iPad when I'm watching tv with the family. Now I can do research and still be a part of what's going on. Amazingly fast and the Retina display is awesome for watching videos.

Returned my Air for the iPad mini retina. I found the Air still too big for my tastes. Mini is the perfect size. The retina screen makes reading on the iPad mini a delight and battery life is superb. Color gamut is not as wide as the iPad Air and iPhone 5s but this is not really a big deal.

I went with the Apple Ipad Mini 2 because I wanted to use this primarily as an e-reader for ebooks. It's actually large enough to surf the web without straining one's eyes. Of course, the cross-platform functionality is great with other Apple products. Favorite purchase of the year!

I use my iPad mini for just about everything! Pages is the best I can create reports, posters, and flyers. With Numbers I can make spreadsheets. And it free to download; emails search the web and the apps make things easy to get to like my bank account and eBay. With iTunes I can upload one of my movies and watch them on the go! I love it

Despite its wondrous feature set, some budget-minded buyers may look toward less expensive tablets like the Nexus 7, which also offers a brilliant display and top-notch specs, but for significantly less money. But, let's face it: Plenty of potential buyers won't have a problem paying up, especially those of you who've been eagerly awaiting a mini with Retina display. And we can't blame anyone for being tempted, either, because the mini seems to have finally reached its full potential. We say, two high-quality iPads are better than one, even if it does make it harder to decide which to buy.

We originally purchased this iPad mini for our 3 year old for her birthday. It's weight and size is perfect. The retina display is so clear and bright. The speed between loading is fast! When she streams her movies and shows, it's flawless. It's worth the money. You get what you pay for.

Apple products including iPads have been reviewed multiple times everywhere. Thanks to awesome Best Buy pre-Black Friday offer I got it for much less than Apple sells it. For the product itself, get iPad mini 2 instead of 3. Fingerprint sensor alone is not worth $100 difference given that you are unlikely to use the device to buy things outside of your home, so extra security is not that important comparing to the phone.

I love this Ipad. It does not take long to charge up. It works very fast and very light weight. I love the convenience of traveling with my light weight Ipad. It fits in my purse very well, without taking up too much space. Apple products are awesome.

My son had an iPad 1 that was quickly becoming not useable due to apps no longer being compatible. We decided to upgrade him to an iPad mini for Christmas this year. It is just right for him. He loves it and has no problem at all with the smaller screen. He seems to enjoy it even more than the larger one because it is much easier for him to move around when playing games that require him to move it like a driving game.
