This is a super cute tablet its little yet it's not when you hold it, it feels so comfortable and light and it's so easy to tuck away in your bag. I got one for my 7year old brother and one for my boyfriend to take to work. I might even get another one for my mom for her birthday just because she has a cute case to go with it. It's literally almost the same as a regular tablet just off by two inches but those two inches have like 300 dollars different in price, there's really no difference between the 2 and the 3 other than the 3 has the Touch ID. So If you have the Touch ID on yor phone then I feel like you won't need the 3 you can settle for the 2 and get it for cheaper or even possibly trade in something for it. If you don't have the touch I.d on your phone then I'd say get the 3 Just because it's a fun little feature and it does come in the gold color as well. Difinately worth the money and simple to use compared to other tablets

Perfectly fits into one hand, unlike other iPads. Battery life is the best. Well worth it!

This iPad is so light. The screen is crystal clear. But i don't recommend to upgrade to iOS 8. It felt much slower then iOS 7. I have to downgrade form iOS 8 to iOS 7. I'm lucky enough to do this before apple stops signing iOS 7. Trust me this iPad will run better with iOS 7.

Best pad ever, the size is suitable for whereever you want to use. The screen is Retina.

Beside the fingerprint scanner the iPad mini 2 has basically the same internals as newest iPad mini 3. So if you don't care much about fingerprint scanner on iPad mini you better save $100 and go for mini 2 that has the same retina display and processor. Compared with iPad mini first generation which I also got a year ago from Best Buy, mini 2 is much faster, smoother and has a beautiful retina display

I upgraded my 3rd generation iPad to this retina display iPad and I couldn't be happier. Faster than I expected and battery to outlast my constant shows and the occasional game I run during my lunch break and commute. I can always count on being thoroughly entertained.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my mom and it's the perfect size and form factor for someone small like her. Since the specs are the same as the current generation mini/last year's iPad Air, it can handle most things thrown at it pretty easily. The only thing it doesn't have compared to the new model is the fingerprint scanner, but for an iPad that's not as useful since my mom mainly uses it at home.

I bought this mini ipad for a senior to look at photos and also for WhatApps and WeChat with family member overseas. It's a good size to hold, easy to learn with IOS and setup the functions. The colors on the screen is beautiful and I got it on sale.
