I'm a nurse practitioner student who purchased the iPad mini before i started clinical rotations. I have enjoyed all of the apps available and the size of the mini is a perfect fit for my lab coat pocket. I'm also satisfied with the screen, ease of use, and battery life.

Man so I love this tablet! It's the perfect size for what I want and very speedy.

This is the first iPad I ever owned. I am a hard core Game of Thrones fan and the HBO NOW viewing experience on laptop is far from satisfactory so I purchased this iPad mini just to watch HBO NOW. I like the build quality of the iPad and the screen is fantastic. Navigation through the iOS is no hassle, just like my iPhone. And the price of it is about right, I think. Glad that I made this choice.

I purchased this iPad so i could take notes in class and do simple school work like looking things up and maybe on online test. Since i started to use the iPad about 2 months ago i have not even picked up my old laptop. i use the iPad for everything from typing papers, to online tests to games when I'm bored. my only regret is that i did not get a higher memory because i ate through the 16 gb in about a week with music, papers, and apps. I use my tablet extensively because of my position as a teachers assistant at my college. This tablet will work great for anybody who needs to get work done. i have not run into a problem yet. (also buy a nice keyboard case it really comes in handy. i got the Zagg "rugged" version

Very fast, light weight, great for on the go to be productive anytime and any where.

The iPad works great. The processor is fast, the iPad mini is just the perfect size.

Love the size because it fits in my purse and I can finish up assignments on it.

I love my Apple iPad Mini with Retina Display. i bought the Mini as I didn't want the larger version. I've had the Nook for close to 2 years and wanted more versitility in a tablet. My daughter has the Apple iPad and was impressed with the Apple and it functions. The pictures with the Retina Display are fantastic and I am thrilled with the free apps. (You pay for the majority of the Nook apps). I highly recommmend this product. You won't be disappointed. I also want to mention the fantastic help I received from the Best Buy sales associates. They took their time showing me all the functions of the iPad and how it worked. This made it very easy for me to open the box and proceed with the enjoyment of this product immediately.

Easy to use and battery life is good. Light enough to hold in one hand. Love it

A gift for my son in law. He is very pleased. I had previously purchased the iPad mini first generation for him and it was not working properly. Best Buy was very helpful by letting us return the product and I was able to pay the difference to upgrade. The iPad mini generation 2 is working much better.

I got this as a Mother's Day gift for my grandmother. Primarily she uses it for ebooks but also likes to play her iPhone games on the larger screen. My family is split on e readers. I like apple & my aunts use kindle & nook. Thanks to some great apps my grandma can read books from all of us on the iPad. She is not very tech savvy but had no problem using the iPad straight out of the box.

I had the original Ipad and waited years and years to get this new one. I love it.

The mini 2 has good processing speed and a great screen. Nice to pair with iPhone.

Being used in college as a laptop replacement in tandem with a ZaggKeys Folio Keyboard Case. The iPad Mini Retina has eliminated the need to carry heavy text books and even notebooks for classes. Books can be purchased or rented online in digital format, notes can be taken with a stylus, and class handouts distributed in PDF can be annotated. With the iPad Mini Retina, one can go virtually paperless and to an extent, laptopless. The iPad Mini Retina can do everything the iPad Air can do having the same guts under the hood, but is smaller and lighter. The only other difference between the iPad Air and the Mini Retina besides the physical dimensions is the display panel of which I'll talk about later. Certain websites require the use of Flash which iOS does not support, so that is the only time I need to use a desktop OS. The only other negative thing I can say about the iPad Mini Retina is that the screen isn't as vibrant and/or accurate as the iPad Air's Retina display with regard to color. I only notice this when comparing the two side by side. In comparison to any non Retina displays, the the iPad Mini Retina's screen is gorgeous. Text and graphics is sharp. Whereas on a non Retina display at normal viewing distances, I can see pixels. With my iPad Mini Retina, I have to hold the screen close to my face to begin to even see any pixels. In addition, my iPad has become my main media consumption device for reading books and articles, perusing through social media, watching movies and YouTube, and playing the occasional game here and there. Audio output is more than adequate and surprisingly decent coming from speakers so small. If you favor ultimate portability and productivity, the iPad Mini with Retina display is the one to get!

This is my second Apple IPad. The speed with this A7 processor is quick. The retina display is vivid and clear. In comparison with other tablets ,this iPad mini is the best portable unit for my lifestyle.

My wife has an iPad mini 2 and the kids fight over it every day. They are both getting their own for Christmas. Even though the 16GB is really not enough storage for most people, it will be fine for the few games they play and for watching YouTube. Even though the mini 2 is a couple generations behind now, it is stillmore than capable and runs the latest iOS without any issues.
