I had purchased an iPad mini 1 on launch day in 2012 and used it until my purchase of my mini 2. Best buy had a great price for one so I had to jump on it. This is a great value over the mini 3, which is essentially the mini 2 with Touch ID and a golden housing. IMHO, if you're in the market for the iPad mini, get the mini 2, especially with the promotions Best Buy has.

I use an iPad Air but it is sometimes a little bulky, this mini is perfect for portability, fits perfect in my car armrest, it's very powerful, I didn't get it with cel service because I use it paired to my iPhone when not on wifi

I have the iPad Air 2 but my son always seem to want to use it at the same time so I snagged this on sale at it a better size for a child. The storage is decent but 32GB should be the minimum.

Although it doesn't do anything drastically different than the last model, it does everything for your tablet needs. Good resolution and easy to use. The mini size is a nice touch as well.

I absolute LOVE this! It's small and convenient! I can pop it in my purse, in my workbag and even in my workout bag! The Apple interface is very easy to use and it's pretty much like a larger iPhone! I use the iPad for music, youtube videos and have even been able to use it for my work (office documents) when I'm unable to get to my computer. Overall, it's a great buy!

IPad mini 2 is fast. Moving apps between folders is very easy. Have not had any issues with connecting to the Internet. Bluetooth is very strong. I can usually get a full days use or more from the battery. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I gave it to my wife for Christmas, she was surprised because last year I gave her an Ipad. However, the mini Ipad is much more compact and fits into her purse. She now carries it everywhere she goes. The Ipad I gave here last year is standing by at home on the charger for her use whenever she needs it. I decided to go with the iPad mini instead of iPad Air because it was on sale and kept me on budget for Christmas and I'm glad I did! They turned out to be the perfect gifts for my 11 and 9 year old boys. I wasn't expecting them to be such a big hit but the size is just right. I also ordered lifeproof cases so I dont have to worry about then getting dropped or wet.

This is my first purchase of an Apple product. This iPad Mini 2 perfectly suits my need for a portable reading device. Makes it easy to carry work-related software administrator/user guides and other personal study materials with me wherever I go. And with wireless connection, I can check Facebook, emails and more. Easy to use. Very happy with this purchase.

This was purchased as a gift for an iPhone user. She had previously had a Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet (the original version) but never even picked up the tablet to use, I think mostly because it wasn't easy enough for her to just pick up and use. She has had an iPhone 4S for about two years and immediately fell in love with it. I decided to try and get her the iPad since it has the same user interface. She loves the iPad and has been using it daily with no problems whatsoever. The screen on this is fantastic and I think the size pretty much hits the sweet spot as it is big enough for her to do things on that she would never do on her iPhone (e.g., booking plane tickets on a mobile site). She can also easily take this with her when she goes on vacation. Overall, great product for a user that is already familiar with Apple products.
