There were only a few upgrades to my last mini so I hesitated to get this. I am very glad I did. The retina display does make a huge difference and this newer model is a bit faster. I love the size and the portability of the mini.

I really like my IPAD mini. Coming from an Android tablet tho, I do miss a Mini SD card port. Another thing I find myself looking for is the " Back Button". Also It seems there are less FREE Apps in the Apple store than the Google play store. On the other hand, there are some APPS that are only available in the Apple store. Overall, the Apple Quality is a big plus and I find this to have less freezes and glitches than my Android tablet. Also, I purchased the IPAD mini so i could use FACETIME with my out of state Grandchildren. This works Great! I would recommend this to a friend because of the quality and functionality.

This is the best iPad I've owned. I love the split keyboard for thumb typing like a cell phone. Large enough to read and super-light for traveling. At the same time with A7 chip and 64-bit architecture it's as fast as they come.

Bought this as a gift for a family member. The screen is very clean and the processor runs without any lag. They really like the ipad mini. It's a great size to use when laying on the bed. The full size ipad is a bit too large.

This was a gift to my mom so she can get into the social network easier. This iPad mini 2 with Retina display has everything she needs. Of course she is not into download 1000's of mp3, games so the 16GB of memory are enough to keep her pictures, lots of songs, some apps and quite a few emails. I had it on sale so no complains on the price.

I bought this as I was looking for something portable to use around the house. There are times when I needed to look something up and this saves me steps. It is not as useful as a computer but does the job. The display is excellent. The speaker sound quality is mediocre but auditable. I bought a case for it as it is slippery. I am not sure if its me but the touch screen sensitivity is unpredictable, sometimes I barely touch it and works other times I have to touch it multiple times for it to respond. I have had it a month and am still learning how to use it however I am satisfied with this purchased.
