This was purchased for my son and has been a great tool to teach him about how to safely navigate the internet as well as prepare him for a much more online world ahead. Easy to use and highly recommended for all beginners as well as those who just need a little more size than a phone but don't want the bulk of a laptop.

The iPad is a staple. I did not need the iPad Air but wanted an iPad I could use for some writing apps and reading. Being small with the A7 chip helps make my work so much easier. It is the best tablet I have owned and I have gone through Nooks, Fires, and Galaxy tablets with varying results. But I am keeping my iPad.

it was on sale. also i chose mini2 than mini3 because they are identical except for fingerprint. always wanted an ipad, but didnt like the bigger ipads size. the mini2 screen was big enough for me for videos movies than watching them on my iphone5s.

Apple products have long been part of our family so a smaller lighter iPad was a definite "must purchase". Lighter and smaller so it fits in my purse better!

This was such a great purchase! I love to use this when I'm in bed after I put my laptop away for the night. I can surf the net and play games easily. It's a great supplement to my laptop and cellphone. Save yourself $100 and don't worry about the touch ID for unlocking the device. Glad I grabbed this when I did!

What can I say? It's apple! Fantastic! I love it. Quick, light very portable. Screen is gorgeous. Only complaint I may have is that I should have gotten more memory cause now I want to put everything on it!

I purchased the iPad mini because of it's small size to drop into my purse and it weighed less than the full size iPad. I wish that I would have purchased the 64 version instead of the 16 as I find myself adding lots of apps. A portion of the space is taken up by the operating system & I did not allow for that. Other than the space, there is nothing bad I can say about the mini...I just love it!

I got this for my mom to replace her Kindle Fire. She hasn't put it down yet. She really loves being able to access her email, purchase games, and FaceTime with all of her grandchildren. She hasn't complained yet and she is very picky about her gadgets.

I love my ipad mini! I use it mostly for work and am completely satisfied. It's small size makes it easy to handle, but it's large enough to work on. Sometimes I need to restart it because the screen stops rotating, but that is probably my fault for keeping it turned on nonstop. Would highly recommend to anyone.

More importantly, the differences between this mini and last year's model are actually quite significant, since the tablet made a two-generation jump from Apple's A5 chip to the A7. Everything loads faster; there are fewer frame skips when playing games; and we had a great experience with both 32- and 64-bit apps. And if you don't think there's enough of a difference between the A5 and A7, we recommend you play with an original mini for a few minutes and then repeat the same tasks on the new version. The improvement is immediately obvious. On both devices, we played some of the usual games -- Infinity Blade III and Asphalt 8 come to mind -- and new games like Epoch 2 and Lego LOTR, and it's really hard to go back.

This was a birthday gift for my husband. We had researched it, and he was leaning more towards a Kindle. At the store, the sales associate answered our questions, pointing out the benefits of the products we were looking at. We decided on the iPad mini. My husband LOVES it and spends a lot of time on it.

My wife bought me the larger Ipad a few years ago for Christmas. I got tired of her asking me to let her use it so I decided to get the mini this year for her and she loves it. I have also used it and I love the feel of it. It's not as bulky as the original so that makes it easy to carry around. I recommend it.

This was my first purchase of an I-Pad mini. We've had several regular I-Pads in our home for the past several years and have found them to be quite useful. However, this new smaller version has been everything we wanted and less. It does all the things a bigger one does only that this version is more portable.

The thing I love most about this iPad is the Retina display. For over a year I used the original iPad mini and now after using this with with retina display, I can't look at it the same again. I also love the power the the A7 and M7 chip give you when using multiple app. Overall this is a excellent device.

For the value, the iPad Mini 2 offers the best bang for your buck. With a Retina display, A7 chipset it is a huge upgrade from the original iPad mini, however, the only difference between the mini 2 and 3 is Touch ID. I recommend this to anyone looking for a budget tablet that doesn't want to sacrifice specs.

I bought this one to be used with the Phantom 3 I purchased from BestBuy.com. It matches the finishes of the phantom and works very well in daylight. The newest ipad mini has a slightly better screen for out doors but this works well.

I was going on a long trip and needed to be in a plane for about 14 hours per travel leg. My Kindle Fire HD is down to about 2 hours max on it's battery. I got the iPad mini to replace it and I got over 11 hours the 3 times I charged it on the trip. The display is better than the Kindle as well as the app's. Everything is easier on the iPad. I run the Kindle app on the iPad which is not as good as on the Fire HD, but what do you expect? I can access all my business applications easily. I got the flip over cover which is an excellent idea. It auto-shuts off when you close the cover besides protecting the screen or acting as a stand for table top viewing (though, this is a weaker aspect of the cover).
