I bought this as a gift for my wife. She has always had an interest, and I see her use it almost every day. She carries it with her, and has everything she needs on it. She became an iphone user a couple of years ago, and the ipad mini is perfect. They work the same (except for one is a phone)

The speed and small footprint of the product are favorable along with the vast library of apps / music in the iTunes store i rec this product

My son loves it. It was hard to figure out how to use an Apple product but its ok after you get use to it. I still don't understand it but my son does and he is only 6. It was worth the price. Especially for the protection plan.

I waited for Best Buy to give a $50 discount and together with my store credits was able to buy an I Pad Mini 2 16gb just over $200, quite a substantial reduction from sticker. Very pleased with this very capable product from Apple and buying it at a very substantial discount from Best Buy.

Bought this for my sister, and it is more convenient than normal ipad since it is smaller and lighter. Bought the second latest generation and got a very good deal. Screen is beautiful!

Love my upgrade from my first ipad. It's easy to use and super light. I can hold it in one hand and it fits in all my purses. It does everything I need it to do. The screen size is perfect.

Great little tool to have while in school. Pair it with a blue tooth keyboard and you have a great way to take notes in class. I prefer bringing this to class instead of my laptop. I keep that at home and use this in class for notes. Use google docs and always have your notes with you

This is my first tablet. My wife has the iPad 2 and I wasn't all that enthused about it but when the iPad mini came out I got interested. So this year when they upgraded to ios7 and retina display I took the plunge and am quite happy to say I am completely satisfied. I like the size (I read quite a fewf books, newspapers and magazines on it); use the internet a lot; its fast, color is brilliant, lots of available apps and I purchased the Apple iPad mini case and it is a great addition. I would recommend this tablet to anyone who is thinking about getting one. I got the 16GB but if you store lots of videos, pictures, books, music I'd recommend at least the 32GB version.

Finally an ipad with Retina display! It also has the same innards as the ipad air, so with the smaller size this one is definitely a 'must-buy'! Fast processor, great apps, superb display.

This ipad mini, is the perfect size to carry around, light weight, and great ,fast performance. I don't have a iphone so love the ability to facetime with my kids who do.

This iPad mini seems like the smartest move for a small form factor ipad. The difference between the iPad mini 1 and iPad mini 2 are more than worth the minor difference in cost, but the only difference that matters between the iPad mini 2 and iPad mini 3 is the fingerprint scanner, which is hard to justify for $100. If your flavor is IOS versus Android, and small form factor is your cup of tea, this is the only real option.

My dad loves his birthday gift, although he still doesn't know what more to use than YouTube and webpages, he's getting the hang of the camera and other useful things he can use and download on it! It makes him happy

The Ipad Mini with Retina Display is a very interesting means of having a light-weight, portable laptop with me. The Retina model is definitely worth the extra money as the clarity is so much better and my eyes aren't getting any younger, so reducing fuzziness is a plus. I do like being able to carry it in my purse and it does spur me on to find wifi spots around town. It's a fun adjunct to my laptop, but would never replace a laptop for me.

I purchased 3 for my grandchildren. They range from 4 to 15. This is a good tool for all of them. Not complicated for the young ones and gives the older one the things they like to do on a computer. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing; and it helped me make my decision.

This IPad is wonderful. The retina display is vibrant and the battery seems to last forever. It has hundreds of apps and downloads quickly. You can hold it easily because of the size.

The additional ram and newer processor makes a big difference in speed and productivity compared to my original first generation iPad mini. Not to mention the awesome retina display. I contemplated getting an iPad Air 2 but I like the size of the mini. The iPad Mini 3 is not worth the money for the limited updates / upgrades that Apple put into it.

The iPad mini has been a great tablet so far. I love it's size although it's smaller than the regular iPads, you won't notice the size difference when you use it and it makes it much more versatile when you travel. It fis almost anywhere and it's light weight so you can hold it without leaning it against anything for a long time. I use it in my airplane on the yoke and because of its size, it does not prevent me to see other instruments. I highly recommend this tablet as a flying aid to private pilots!

I love my new -I pad mini. It has all the same apps as my phone and I can use it anywhere there is Wi-Fi. I may think about paying for Wi-Fi so I can access it any time, any where like my phone. It could easily replace my laptop! Much smaller but does everything a laptop does!

If your looking for a tablet that's smaller but is great for watching videos this is the one. At a lower price it's a great deal. I watch more movies and tv shows on my tablet than I do on tv. It's fast enoug to play games and handle all your media contents.

Easy to use and very much functional device for all ages. I gave to in laws and they are happy with the utility especially the FaceTime compatibility with my iPhone. Simple and easy to set up wireless settings made their lives less confusing. I recommend this product.
