Great battery life and graphics are neat. Fast to play games, search the Internet and do video calls. Overall is perfect for my everyday life. I read my books online, take notes, watch movies all in one devices and the size is just so convenient to carry around.

I also have an iPhone, but really love using my iPad for everything. The battery life is very good, which I was concerned about based on other reviews. It doesn't drag when loading videos, websites, etc. It also takes wonderful pictures. Would highly recommend!

Extremely happy with the mini IPAD 2. Excellent connection, size and light weight. I can download all my favorite games, check FB and facetime. This product is also excellent for kids entertainment and to watch their videos. I will highly recommend this product if you looking for an Ipad. No differences at all with the mini Ipad Air unless you are a real tickler for small details which in my opinion are not worth the extra money. Trust me they operate at the same speed!

I have the 2012 Nexus 7 and was looking to upgrade to a slightly larger screen that would still be comfortable to hold in one hand. The mini fit the bill. The retina display is beautiful and makes it easy to read for long periods of time.

Great iPad and great value I prefer the size and weight of the Mini vs the iPad Air Even with an older processor, it runs iOS 9 smoothly and had no issues. Retina screen looks amazing For the price, this is the iPad to buy

She has had this product before around the age of one and half and the only problem was she broke her ipad mini and thats because I didn't have the right case for her, so we decided maybe lets get something a little different for her age so we got her a kindle(The new edition for kids with a foam case). We only had the the kindle for a month and it was horrible with more complications then you would imagine for a kids product, so what I did was take it back to the store and rebought my baby the ipad mini again ( something I should have done in the first place)! The whole family has their ipad and we love the product and connection though all of them! My 3yr old can also work the ipad better than anything else and understands it. :) One HAPPY MOMMY!!!

This iPad is great for my 7 year old son that has special needs. It is light, average size, clear, great processor and allows me to check everything super smoothest. Extremely content with my choice of purchase.

This gadget offers me a lot of stuff, for my everyday work or fun time. The screen is awesome, the device runs smoothly, no issues at all. The battery capacity is solid and enough to get you through couple of days.

This is the perfect size for younger children, easy to navigate and is relatively durable with an appropriate case. Battery life is adequate and easy charging extends usage period. Applications are easily downloaded.

Everyone has different needs and desires, for me the mini was the perfect fit. Great to use in your home or to carry anywhere that has internet service. Perfect size, stays charged and is very user friendly.

Easy to set up, very intuitive in how to use, love the sizzle as it makes it easy to Cary around. Wish it was cheaper. Also I think 16 gigs is small. I don't have much music but between books and podcasts it fills up

I bought this tablet for my 11 year old son and he absolutely loves it!! He can play just about every game imaginable and the picture quality on the games is incredible. Actually the retina display creates a beautiful picture on the iPad. It is a perfect size to take on the go. It's big enough to enjoy playing games and watching movies, but small enough to be very convenient. My son also loves that this iPad comes with Siri. But, besides the great picture quality, the ability to download many, many games, music and movies, I cannot really think of much this tablet does not do.

Hello, this review is for anyone thinking about purchasing an iPad mini 2... I picked up my brand-new iPad mini 2 just three days ago. Before this purchase I already owned an iPhone 5c, and a MacBook Air 13-inch. I wanted a high-performance tablet that would be fully compatible with my other devices. Within a few hours of setting up my new iPad mini 2, I could tell that I was going to be more productive and have the freedom of taking my work to more places. I'm incredibly pleased with how I can start working on one device, and pick up exactly where I left off on another. Documents are synchronized instantly between my phone, my laptop, and my tablet. Using the free iCloud drive that Apple offers to each of its users, I never have to worry about not having the current version of the document in front of me, it's always right there at my fingertips. The iPad is an incredibly cost-effective computer due to all the available FREE applications offered in the online Apple Store. Apple also includes free fully functional Word-processing, Spreadsheet, and Presentation creator applications. All three programs are fully compatible with Microsoft Office formats. You can create documents and save them as native Apple formats, or you can save them as MS Word, PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, and other popular formats. I love the fully functional built-in Safari browser. You can browse a website on one device, and pick up where you left off on any of the other devices without having to do a thing, it's automatic I find this feature to be extremely handy and allows me to be more productive. For those that don't prefer to use Safari as your browser, Google offers a tablet version of Chrome. There are many other free browsers which you can also install; including Opera, Mercury, Dolphin and others. After working on, and playing with my new tablet practically nonstop all weekend, I'm very delighted with performance. The A7 processor chip and the 1-gigabyte of RAM, makes this tablet incredibly responsive. There is no lag time when opening or moving between apps. With this all being said, please don't confuse the iPad mini 2, with the original iPad mini (Version1). There is a night and day difference between the two models. From the ram, to the processor chip, the screen clarity, and the overall speed, the iPad mini 2 is far superior when compared to the original iPad mini. Thanks for reading. This is a very nice tablet...fast, good size, light-weight, great screen resolution, and awesome choices for accessories. We use this outdoors quite a lot and you can see the screen very well even with sun-glasses on. Unfortunately, the price is horrible and I probably wouldn't have gotten it, except it was for my wife. IMO, the Nexus 7 is a very comparable tablet for a much better price point.

My wife has this wrapped in a New Trent Airbender Mini keyboard case, which is on par with the Otterbox Defender for iPad mini, but with a detachable keyboard. Both tablet and case are great. This tablet is light (though the case pretty much doubles its weight), responsive, and well crafted. We find this size to be just right as well—smaller and we could just use a phone, much larger and we'd prefer to use a laptop. It's mostly used for web browsing, social media, and reading. Battery life is sufficient to last several days between charges. I do wish Apple included a slightly longer Lightening-to-USB cable, especially since Lightening cables are somewhat expensive (a 3' cable is included).

If deciding between the iPad Mini 2 and 3, I would highly recommend the cheaper 2. Yes, the inclination is to get the latest and greatest everything, but when it comes down to it, the 2 has nearly all the features of the 3, but for $100 less. The chips inside that contribute to speed and usage are the same (A7 I believe) as the newer 3, the screen resolution and battery life are the same, they weigh the same... you get the picture. Really, the only difference that I have been able to find between the two, other than the price, is that the 3 does have the fingerprint recognition feature. So the question primarily is this: do you want to spend $100 more for only this feature.

Great product, great service and great price! Got the white mini 2 16gb with retina to complement my iphone for both at home and on the go. Looks good, works great, is fast and seems solid. I've installed Microsoft 365 for ipad which will make my mini even more useful. It's the perfect size, is light and super easy to carry around. Very pleased!

I have had several iPads, my latest being the Air. But I find the mini a great size and weight. All the same functions, and as always, great performance and screen quality. Love it!

My wife and I both had iPhones, and we were in the market for a tablet for her to use. She looked at many different models and types, before even looking at an iPad. Originally she was thinking "i already have an apple device, I want something different. She saw how easy it was to stop on an application on one device and move it to the larger screen and was immediately hooked. She enjoyed her new iPad so much, I ended up buying one too. Who would have thought two PC users would end up owning so many apple devices?

I decided on the iPad mini 2 after realizing that the iPad mini 3 basically just adds the Touch ID scanner for $100. Not worth it, in my book. This tablet is light, responsive, and well crafted. I find this size to be just right as well—smaller and I could just use my phone, much larger and I'd prefer to just use my laptop. I mostly use it for web browsing, social media, and reading.
