I like the smallness of it, especially for traveling. Nice to take pictures.Also it has a lot of GB. So we can download more programs. It is just very convenient for our purposes.

My son rides in the car for 45 minutes each way twice a week. This has been a life saver. Perfect weight and size along with apples easy to use interface! Couldn't be happier!

I traded in my original iPad mini for an upgraded unit and I really like it. I decided against the latest model because I didn't want to pay the high cost. OK so I don't havefingerprint security but I don't need it. THis device has a better display and is faster that my original device. My original case fits the newer devices so that was a huge cost saver. It travels with my everywhere and is just what I need when on business trips.

I had an android tablet and when it died on me, I decided to get an ipad. I am impressed with the speed and ease of use. I love being able to message and facetime on it. The screen is very clear and it is very user friendly.

A product with an incredible benefit / cost! The screen is wonderful, the 32 GB memory has the minimum amount to good use and the App Store is the best one! This one is for my son and he is loving it! I recommend the device!

Being larger than my phone, it's easy to check email, search on the internet and also read using my Kindle app. I also like how my pictures on my cell phone are also now viewable on the iPad mini 2. I'm very happy with it.

Met all expectations! Bought a Kindle fire to save a few bucks for my daughter. What a waste! Should have just bought the iPad first. Much more user friendly. Battery life and speed are fantastic. Great overall product!

Great product!! I love the ipad mini. It was the perfect gift for my daughter. She is enjoying using it in college. She can download books instead if purchasing them and this is much lighter for her to carry around.

this was bought for an 11 year old as a present and to get her off my wife's full sized iPad. This is much more portable, and still big enough for games and such. We bought the wifi-only version to save some money and so we had a little more control over her online access. Running a hotspot from my iPhone works great for travel, made even more seamless when registering the device as a family asset on my iTunes account. We got the 32GB version as we've found 16GB on our iPad2 isn't really enough to hold games plus pics/videos/music plus a few movies for trips. I also like the family setup where she has to get permission to download an app, but the request is sent to my iPhone so I can do it even when I'm away from home.

Bought 2 of these as gifts for Christmas and the recipients couldn't be happier! They both said that they love the size, speed, and all the cool stuff they can do on their iPads versus using a big laptop.

Great price for an "outdated" device - almost identical to iPad® mini 3 and similar to mini 4. Check this out before purchasing newer versions to determine if this earlier version iPad suits your need.

Needed a smaller iPad for use with kids school programs and to take on trips. This one fits the bill and is reasonably priced. Functions well and keeps our content connected to our other apple devices.

I already had an original sized iPad. Best Buy had a sale, so I thought I'd get a mini for travel. I prefer the screen size of the original, but the mini is a lot lighter in my purse.

This was a gift for my daughter. She LOVES it. It is small enough that she can carry it anywhere. The amount of memory should last her for awhile. This was a great price as well which was nice for my wallet!

The mini 2 was just the iPad I needed. The size is easy to carry and read books . The reduced special price was more affordable. Wish it had more memory as updates and apps take up half of the 32 gb.

So far so good. This iPad 2 with retina display has caused me less grief than any other electronic device I've ever owned. I'm not a big fan of the Apple operating system but this device so far has been flawless. No hang-ups or frozen screens no matter how many apps or programs I have running. It is super fast and never looses WiFi connection. Only time will tell if it is worthy of 5 stars or not!

It is simply perfect for taking with you, or using everyday. Quick to set up and get going, especially if you already use a full size iPad or iPhone. But reasonable price compared to a full size iPad.

I bought this as a Christmas present for myself (my wife got the Gray) and it helps replace using my laptop. It is light weight, quick and boots up in no time. For the price, you can't beat it!

I am very pleased with my ipad mini... just the right size for daily handling and carrying in my purse when needed. It is fast and easy to read and has lots more function than I have been able to try out so far after just a couple of weeks. I would love it if Best Buy would have educational classes on using it.

If you've used iOS before this is exactly like that with a high resolution screen, the mini size makes this ideal for my uses (religious meetings and such) If you're looking for a tablet and you're not super concerned about price I recommend this, iOS has a little bit easier learning curve than other operating a systems in my opinion. But it's by far not the cheapest option out there.
