We bought this to replace our 1st generation, while getting a little more storage. Pretty similar to the 1st generation. The space grey back looks nicer than the black back, but that is the major difference here. Works well for the kids, as iOS has many of the apps they use.

If the camera feature was better I would have given 5 stars. Anything moving in picture shows up blurry. That said, I love the mini. Fits in my purse great, take it anywhere. All my books stored in one location. My new best friend.

I was very iffy I needed something practical and light for school and this was by far the best product just what I need.

Got one for my son for his Birthday, the mini 2 is not a top model but pretty decent Retina tables for the price tag. We had few Kindles in the past but they away have issues with charge cables, apps were not so great (Amazon and Google Play are competing in the Android area), etc. We liked the mini 2 so much that we bought a second one in the same week for the other kiddo which is 5year older so now both are quipped with same gadgets for less of $500 in total. Not bad at all :)

Bought this to keep me connected and busy while traveling. Ideal size--fits in my carry-on with out being bulky like my full sized Ipad.

I'm not an iPhone person BUT I love Apple's Ipad/iPod touch. They are so well made with awesome graphics and the standby time is unbelievable. I can be on 70 or 80% in the morning. Go to work and come back 9/10 hours later and it will still be on 70 or 80%.....AMAZING!

Bought this for my son to watch videos on kids YouTube and so he can play minecraft. He is pretty happy with this iPad.

I use these for my business and love how light weight they are. Will definitely purchase again for my growing business!

It is good size to hold and read email etc, it is a little small for reading book or watching movie for extended period of time. It is also pricey if you just want to use it to read emiail or browse internet.
