I traded an ipad for the mini2. Best decision ever! It is fast and can do everything I need it to do, It is slim and light and I take it with me everywhere. The battery life is terrific.

I absolutely love my iPad min with Retina Display. It may not have the latest and greatest processor, but it is no slouch. It is at least two times faster than the iPad 2 that it replaced. I do not regret this purchase at all, and I believe the 32GB of storage is a great amount

I was wary about the iPad mini size for my youngest son (9), but he was buying it with his own savings (upgrading from his sister's older iPod touch) and we went to Best Buy to see the different sizes. This fits the best in his hands, and I have to say it's a great size for adults too for watching Netflix or searching the web (bigger than my Samsung Galaxy 6 but smaller than the iPad 2). My son waited until Black Friday and got a great deal. The only negative is the price, but since my kids have used Apple products for a few years they didn't want to transfer to an Android or Fire platform and lose their music and games. If you are not tied to a specific platform I think you can find a comparable tablet for less, but again, it was his money and he wanted to stick with the iOS platform. Worked great out of the box and was easy to set up in a few minutes and transfer his games and movies and music to the new device. Thanks Best Buy!

I bought this mini pad for my daughter so she would not keep stealing mine or my wife's. I was a bit worried that it was not a large as my full size pad but given the fact that she is just a child, the screen size was perfect. Plenty of space on the drive with the 32 so she can load pictures and music. Works as well as my large pad and has a fantastic screen. Greta product even though it is a 2 and not most recent version, maybe not as new bells and whistles, but for what she uses it for it is fantastic !

I always had an iPod Touch up until the battery started going and I had to keep it plugged in to use it, which defeats the purpose of a portable device. So I started looking to buy a new camera to replace my old one and it just made perfect sense to me to buy an iPad mini because not only does it have more megapixels than my old camera, it also has an excellent eReader with adjustable font sizes and a much larger screen than my iPod and it's not too big to hold & read at night. The speakers ROCK! This iPad mini has better sounding speakers than my laptop! It's so intuitive that you can figure everything out without reading a manual! Love it! I've had it for a month now & can hardly put it down. 10hr. Battery life & a super fast charge speed!

i got the IPad mini to replace a Microsoft tablet and have gotten more use out of it in the last 2 months then the years I had the other. It is a great size, compatible with my IPhone and Mac, and easy to use, and best for me is great battery life. So I love it!

I love my new iPad Mini. I replaced my iPad 2 with the mini. It is lightweight and does everything the larger model does. Easy to travel with by dropping in my large travel purse. Battery life seems to be longer than that of the iPad 2, so happy with my new purchase.

Love the battery life as well as the ease of use! I take with me shopping to do my ad matching or price matching. The pictures on my device turn out so good! I can send to walmart, Walgreens, or CVS and print them out, and they look so good!

First, I am a photographer so I have a different purpose for my iPad use. I love my iPad, but first, the memory filled up quick (cause of my photos duh) but the more memory still wasn't worth the price. Second, I got it to edit in Lightroom mobile which extremely limited, so if you are getting it for that, don't bother. Also, I got it to show clients select photos during shoots, BUT the SD card reader I bought only show small previews, so you have to either import all (which takes too long) or guess (which are usually not the money shot). So BASICALLY, if you are getting it for photography, I would just stick with a Mac or PC. I now just use this for convience, of watching Netflix on the go, FB, Pinterest. And I still LOVE it, so its just whatever you need it for, its a powerful little machine, don't settle for a tablet.

Biggest improvement is in the display, though to be honest you won't notice in video unless you download/stream in HD. However, if you do, the doubled capacity is definitely a must -- with my apps and other stuff I ran into space issues on my ipad mini first gen 16gb all the time. So 32 gb is big plus also. The processor speed is supposedly a big boost, but for the stuff I do I haven't noticed it too much.

This is my first IPad and even though I've only had it for a month, it has become my constant companion! The size, speed, display and functionality are unbelievable ! With the wireless keyboard , I can go anywhere and do emails, etc. truly a marvelous addition to my life!!

Love this iPad ! Super user friendly and fast. The pictures are so clear and crisp and bright . I can take it everywhere and fits even in my small purse, very light and keeps you entertained when I'm waiting at the doctor's appointments. Love the fact that I could just show pictures to my friends and love ones instantly! So great in watching Movies, Netflix , tv episodes and games. Just love my iPad mini!

The iPad Mini 2 is the best for me in size and convenience. Bigger tablets are nice and phones are too. But the perfect in between size belongs to the Mini, from my perspective. With the retina display, everything is as sharp as can be. The processor is fast and the 32Mb storage is certainly more than I would ever use, not being a big photo person. Apple products have always been my favorite with a smooth and capable OS and a very reliable track record. Thanks.

I think the 8inch factor is the best form factor for tablets. The mini 2 has a great screen and long battery life and a great processor. perfect tablet.

Love the iPad mini. I used to have the regular sized iPad, and am glad I got the smaller one when it was time to upgrade. Very light, easy to use and easy to hold and type whilst laying down.

I bought this as a gift for my grandmother. She had owned an original iPad and found them so easy to use. She loves how easily this sits in her hand, how much lighter it is and faster.

i think this iPad Mini is a great choice for those that want more than what a phone offers but don't want or need a full-size tablet. I have both an iPhone and an iPad and they both have their place but the device I use the most, by far, has been my iPad Mini. The screen is large enough to do whatever I need but small and light enough to fit just about anywhere. If I had bought the Mini before I bought the full-size iPad there's a good chance I wouldn't have gotten it. I can't recommend this enough... get it and you won't be sorry.

This iPad Mini has all the power and storage I need. I upgraded from the first gen 16 gig model. I appreciate the retina display's color and crispness. I recommend 32 gig minimum for any iPad since you cannot upgrade the memory. The camera is great and the small form factor makes it easier to keep with you. I had a full sized iPad and I prefer the smaller size. I have a laptop already so this is for when I am truly mobile. I would buy it again!

I picked up a couple of these Ipad mini 2s for my kids as Christmas presents. I got them each for about $239 on sale right before Christmas. The kids love them and use them everyday. They also use them for their school activities since they use Ipads at school already. The retina display on these minis give a great clean sharp picture. All apps run fast and smooth. I notice the price has jumped back to $319 and am so glad I got them for less. My only gripe ever and always about Ipads are that you can't change out the storage capacity simply by swapping internal storage like a memory card. But they are definitely user friendly.
