It was time to replace my gen 1 mini IPad; I did some research to see what else was out there. Ido 't think anything else comes close to the IPad. It's easy to use and the small size makes it perfect to fit in my purse and carry along. I did not need all the newest things available- the gen 2 was exactly what I did need. Best Buy had it at a great price- cheaper than any other store.

I purchased the IPad Mini 2 for my son. As a student it's the right size to carry to school and watch YouTube videos. He is also able to check in on his school work and look at his online textbooks with ease. He is able to utilize it in class as a kindle reader and for looking up quick information and at home got apps, movies, and other entertainment. It is the perfect size for him.

I am so pleased with my purchase of the IPad Mini 2. I use it for reading books with the kindle app., surfing the net, checking my email, and playing games. It has plenty of room being a 32gb, I have loaded many apps on it and it still has lots of space left for more. It's size makes it very portable I am able to slip it in my purse and use it on the go! Love, love, love it!

I bought my sister one for Christmas to replace her slow/barely working Amazon Kindle, and she LOVES her iPad mini 2! The price was so good I decided to get myself one, too! We both enjoy them so much more than the Amazon Kindle. I like how it syncs with my iPhone. So convenient and fast. Great screen/images. It is a bit heavier than the Kindle but not a problem for sure.

I've owned a few other tablets and so far this is my favorite. I've previously owned an iPad 2 and a Google Nexus 7. I also have an iPad air as well. I love the size of the Ipad Mini. coming from a Nexus 7, the customization is extremely limited but iOS works well. The device is fast, small and light.

We purchased the iPad mini 2 for our children to use for school but also to give them an upgrade from there 4th generation iPod. I am loving this for their school work and all of the available educational apps. It's light weight and small enough to fit in my purse when we make a run to the store or park. The view is clear and brilliant. And the interface is very easy to use.

All I can really say about it is that it's an iPad. It goes on the internet well, it runs apps well, the screen looks nice, can't really complain, I purchased this as a gift for my grandmother who loves to stream music as a replacement for her old iPod nano that did not stream. For the price it was a way better upgrade than an iPad touch and has twice the screen size. However I will say that there is a huge speed difference between the mini 2 and the new Pro models or even the mini 4. I have a 12.9 and 9.7 Pro and my girlfriend owns a mini 4 and they all are much faster when flipping around apps and the home screen, I almost totally suggest if not going for a pro at least go for the mini 4 instead if you want something that will last a few years and won't get slow and outdated. For my grandmother that only plays music and web searches the mini 2 might be fine but if you are looking for a fast powerful device this is not the right iPad for you, not to mention the screen and speakers are more powerful and brighter on the newer model's.

I absolutely love my IPad mini! I have an original IPad that finally bit the dust. The decision boiled down to buying a larger Kindle or IPad. I chose the Mini because it was slightly larger than my Kindle Fire but still small enough to be easier to carry around than a full size IPad. It was also significantly less expensive. I am delighted in every way! Highly recommended!!

The IPad Mini 2 has great features, sounds wonderful and has beautiful clarity on the screen. It's a perfect size to carry and integrates well with my IPhone. It's really fast and the battery stays charged a long time each session. I'm very pleased with its performance. And thanks to Best Buy for the awesome, courteous and knowledgeable support that I received.

Been using this for several months now and it's been really great to just throw in my backpack for any trip. I love how its light and not bulky if you're on the go somewhere. Like with other apple products such as their iPhones, the look and feel is identical so it's not so complicated to use like Android devices, which could have many versions & looks of their operating system over many different devices. You know what you're going to get with apples tablets and phones, which work and have good battery life before they need charging. I've owned some android products in the past such as the Samsung tablet and note series but got annoyed with the constant bugs that make it go slow ..also don't have to worry bout it exploding either when charging.. like their note 7 :D

I have had 3 macbooks, 2 ipads, but all our cellphones are android based. After using android, I'd eager to switch back to Mac OsX, which is way much more stable and neat to use in every aspect. Comparing my mini 2 to my ipad 2, it's apparently much lighter and the resolution is significantly improved. The system goes more smoothly, and battery life is impressive.

I selected the iPad mini version because I think that the smaller size would be nice and convenient, and with the retina display I knew that the display quality would be excellent. It is also quite a bit less expensive (than the full size iPad). Over a month playing with it proved I was right. this is a superb small tablet. I regret that I did not get it earlier.

This iPad is perfect for my DJI Phantom 3 Pro drone.

If you want the best tablet smaller than 10", this is it. I've had plenty of tablets over the last few years including full size iPads and the latest greatest Android devices and this one definitely leads the pack. The screen is beautiful, the buttons are crisp and placed intuitively and the well engineered size and weight package it all together seamless.

I bought this item as a gift for my Mom. She loves it. It took her a week to get used to it, but she really likes it now. This particular one has twice the memory as other Ipad mini 2's had. So I think the price is right. She likes playing games and checking her email on it. The screen is bigger than her cell phone and the batter lasts longer.

After using an original Android Nexus 7 that I purchased directly from the Google Store a few years ago, and suffering through the upgrades and slowdown that brought to the OS, it was a pleasure to finally have a quick-response tablet to use when I get home from work and want to play online. Especially with the Retina screen; the images a fantastic!

Overall, I am in love with th mini 2. It's super fast, easy to is, and. Just the size I need. Same old complaints about apple products. So frustrating not being able to play. Flash content on. a media device, no USB or expandable memory.

My 32 GB Ipad Mini 2 is great product for the price I paid ( I could not justify the extra $100 for the Mini 3 with fingerprint recognition). It does everything I need it to do and is very comfortable to hold and read! I also purchased a case and glass screen protector which I would recommend if you carry your Ipad with you when you leave the house.

I'm not an Apple fan so my review is Android biased; however, if you are an Apple fan, you will love this tablet. It's much lighter than the iPad Air... Works beautifully and has excellent battery life. I'm particularly impressed with its ability to retain its charge when not in use. It can sit there for days but when I pick it up, it's lost very little of its charge. Beautiful machine but, again, I'm not into Apple anything. I find the operating system primitive and they never do much with their machines to make them fresh. Stale is the word that comes to mind but Apple devotees don't care. If you like Apple, grab one... You'll love it!

The ipad mini 32g is the perfect size, has a sleek design and is very user friendly! This device is great for surfing the net, streaming movies and TV, listening to and storing music, taking and storing pictures, etc. It is small enough to be portable, so you can bring with you almost everywhere, but large enough to have a nice sized screen to enjoy.
