Great smaller counterpart to the larger iPad

It is light weight and very portable. Battery life is great with almost 8 hours of movie watching.

It excels at both with a beautiful retina display and smaller form factor than my daughters' iPads. The steep price and anemic speakers are the only things preventing it from being a 5. If sound is important to you, my Kindle Fire sounded better for a lot less.
