Had an ipad 3 with retina. Wanted to go smaller. I love the portability. It was easy to move my apple stuff to the new ipad mini.

It is the right size for little hands and has enough capacity for him to watch movies and download and play games

After years of use, I finally decided to trade in my Ipad Mini 1 and Upgraded to the Mini 2. I like that it has 32 GB of storage space versus the 16 GB I originaly had. And it was a good deal at Best Buy.

Upgraded from an iPad 2 and the iPad mini Retina is much faster. Size is really convenient. Just wish the memory was expandable.

Great price on a 32meg iPad for my 5 year old grandson. But, turned out he wanted 64 meg not 32, so his parents returned it and upgraded for him. Now my 5 year old grandson has much better computing than I do...

I have no great love for Apple, but I got this as a gift for a person who wanted a tablet (but didn't really understand tablets). It was perfect. The UI is easy for beginners to understand, and the "Mini" models are the right size and weight for convenient, sustained use. For the money, the Mini 2 is comparable in all relevant aspects to the Mini 3 (e.g. processor speed, screen resolution, camera). The only caveat: my model is WiFi only, so I can't speak to the cellular network capabilities.

My daughter needed something small to fit in her purse. This is perfect. Screen is super clear. Great product.

I decided to replace my ipad2 and debated between the air or mini. I bought my husband a mini last year and he loves it. When the new mini came out I decided to try the mini because I wanted a light weight device. I love it. Apple maybe considered expensive, but you get what you pay for. My son has two different inexpensive tablets and never uses them. He always asks for the iPad, so I was glad I could give him my old iPad 2. I have had the iPad 2 for three years with no problems. Love Apple products.

Would not hesitate to recommend this product. I had another iPad but ran out of space so I decidedl to upgrade. Definitely worth it. It takes great pictures when I don't feel like carrying my Canon camera.

I decided to go with the 2 because the 3 didn't have too many upgrades and I wanted to take advantage of the price cut. The Apple rep convinced me to do the 32GB but I mainly use it as a netbook like tab.

I reviewed the white version of the product for myself, but here I will note that I loved it so much I purchased one for my 65-yr-old mother for Christmas. So far, she likes it very much - especially Facetime.
