We purchased this to replace an iPad 2. The mini size is not only perfect but much easier to take with us on travel. It is honestly not bigger then a small novel, and is thinner then my iPhone!! It is ready to use right out of the box! I don't know that I will every go back to a full size iPad.

I purchased this IPad with every intent to use it to ween myself off of my iPhone so that I could move over to an Android in the future. Since then, it has automatically integrated so well with my iPhone that now I am seriously considering staying with IOS for my next phone. All of the apps automatically share between them and all of my notes and calendars automatically are shared using the cloud. This is really convenient for me, but if you want to disable such features you can do so individually. The screen is big enough and the tablet light enough that I don't feel the need for a larger tablet, and even though the IOS system is limited, the apps for it (including games) almost always work flawlessly because developers don't have to account for the spiderweb of different hardware and software iinherent in the Android ecosystem. While Apple hardware is generally overpriced, if you can find yourself an IPad mini on sale, give it a shot! I haven't regretted my purchase one bit.

Recently picked one of these up with the Cyber Monday discount, and am very pleased. The mini is a great size for younger users, as well as a great price for them (not going to spend $800 on a toy for kids!). But for $200 this was a great find for the holidays.

It's a great size! As I type right now it's like a large iPhone.So far so good haven't used it to much but so far seems like it'll be nice for notes. Really nice for typing essays, using Netflix. Works great and is really fun to travel around with!

I love the size of this IPad and it is very way to use. I would have liked all the features that the regular sized one has but I wanted the small size

After getting sick and tired of using my Iphone as the sole internet browsing device while relaxing or on business trips, I decided to get an Ipad. The Apple products on my radar included the Ipad Pro, Ipad Air, and Ipad mini. After much review I based the decision off of main use, cost, and travel. The main use was for browsing with the occasional games. I will not use it for computing so therefore the Ipad Pro was removed from the list. Also, the price of the Pro went well above where I wanted to be. The Ipad Air was a great tool of choice. However, with the larger screen I found it to not be as travel worth as I wanted. Needless to say, the Ipad mini was the right choice for what I needed to use this device for. A great travel companion as I can throw it in my bag and go. Also, I love the fact it can be held with one hand!

The processor is fast, little to no waiting for a site to come up, depending on your internet hook up. The retina camera is the best I have seen in a tablet. Yes, Apple can be the more expensive out there, but for some, it is worth the price.

I bought this for my son and he absolutely loves it. its small but packs a punch and can run everything from the app store with ease. It wasn't the cheapest iPad mini but I know it was a good investment and he will use for years to come.

Apple quality still delivers with tablets, can't beat them

My first Apple product. IPad Mini 4 Wi-Fi 32 GB exceeds my expectations. Using my phone as a hot Spot this does what I wanted using Excel and OneDrive. In the near future I will be changing to an IPhone for more flexibility.

Bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas and I can see why so many people are going to the mini! It's small enough to take with you and yet powerful enough to handle all the apps. Would buy it again.

As my moms old iPad is starting to die as they do over the years it was time for an upgrade. Being a teacher and on the live throughout the day the mini is best suited for her situation. This little hand held computer is perfect t for carry around the classroom and for checking emails when needed.
