Perfect size for what I was looking for. Lightweight, fits into all of my messenger/backpacks with ease, and has a decent battery life. Quick processing speed, easy to hold in one hand, and the quality you expect from the I pad line.

I love the iPad mini. I recently upgraded to the new 7th gen, but there’s very little difference compared to the 6th gen. This is a roughly Kindle Paperwhite sized device that is so much more versatile. If you put a paperwhite screen protector on, it makes the experience similar to an eink screen for reading books. The experience is snappy and way faster than a Kindle. I would highly suggest buying a discounted 6th generation iPad mini over a Kindle Colorsoft.

It’s an iPad so it’s the quality you would expect. 256GB of storage is well worth the extra $100. 64gb is simply not enough in 2022. The screen is beautiful, but noticeably not as good/responsive as the iPad Pro but given the price difference that’s ok. It’s the perfect size for reading and portability. I’ve also used it for Xbox cloud gaming and PlayStation remote play without issue. I never thought I’d like the mini as I’ve only ever owned 10-11in iPads and iPad Pros but this exceeded my expectations. It’s prefect for what it’s designed to do, be a tablet. Do not expect it to replace your laptop, the available keyboard cases are disappointing to say the least. If you do want to type or blog, I’d recommend using a folding Bluetooth keyboard or getting a larger iPad.

This device has maximum capacity but is a sure space savor. An easy travel buddy for anyone on the go. For school, work, or simply pleasure, this mini has it all. Its sleek design and lightweight makes this Apple product so desirable.

I have owned all the iPad models. I ended up really enjoying the iPad Pro 11 I would eventually sell them off due to lack of purpose or need to use them. After I sold my iPad Pro 11, I wanted to be able watch streaming video since has AMC+, Netflix, HBO Max, etc. I pretty much go tired of watching them on my iPhone. Then came the iPad mini. I really like the size and form factor. After checking it out in the store, I decided to purchase it. Let me tell you! You will not go wrong with this device. It is a perfect iPad. Probably the best iPad I've use for all intended purpose. Best of all, it has Promotion! So if you looking for something to check e-mail, watch YouTube or stream media. View calendar and create task. This is such an amazing device. I would highly recommend it! I would also recommend getting a 256GB because Apple things 64GB is suitable as an entry point storage level. 64GB was so 2014. However, I presume if you plan on not having photos and transferring docs and intend it for just watching streaming media, you will be fine. I just recommend 256GB for future proofing

I purchased this model to replace my iPad Mini 5. You get more screen with the slimmer bezels and no home button. This version has a camera flash, which my Mini 5 did not have a flash. With a flash I'm able to take photos in dark environments. or use the flash as a flashlight. The speakers are a huge upgrade over previous models. I almost returned it due to the screen. I'm able to see the jelly affect many people are talking about. I see it if I scroll up and down a website without lifting my finger as I go back and forth between scrolling up and down while holding the device in portrait mode. The screen does not get as bright as my Mini 5. However, the blacks are darker than my previous model.

I upgraded to this from an iPad Air, and I am glad I did. It is fast with crisp display and a large amount of memory. The display does not feel much smaller than my iPad Air, yet the tablet is much smaller, making it more portable which I like. It can even fit in my pocket!

Just wanted to give some feedback after the initial new device excitement has worn off and I can give a more practical rating. Form factor: still pretty much perfect, although sometimes I wish I had a little more screen real estate. I guess that’s the trade off as I enjoy the screen size of my roommate’s iPad Air, yet it doesn’t feel nearly as tactile and pleasing in the hands as my mini. For example, reading magazines in Apple news+ I have to pinch zoom a bit too often, but really that is not a deal breaker. It’s when I carry my mini around and open it up, say at a coffee shop, that it’s size is truly appreciated. For ebooks it is still perfect. Performance: 5 stars on this one. So called jelly scrolling has never entered my conscious awareness (1st world problems!). Software can be occasionally buggy, but nothing that a restart won’t clear up. Downloads and updates are fast. Outdoor use: Pretty good, not great, but good enough for most situations. Apple Pencil use: Great in unexpected ways. If I have a true complaint of the mini, it would be the difficulty of hitting page arrows just right with my finger. I don’t know if it’s the size of the mini or what but I’ve found using the Pencil for page navigation and scrolling to be so helpful! It’s comforting to have in the hand as well and snaps to the side of the unit firmly. Well worth the extra money as an accessory. The mini’s screen size puts a limit on effective work/school related note taking etc, but it is still perfect for journaling and personal use notes. I don’t draw so can’t speak to that. Media consumption: again almost perfect. Movies/shows are great as the form factor allows comfortable one handed use or easy use while reclining. That’s a big deal to me. Otherwise I’ll use the TV. The iPad Air is just a little to big for this purpose. Full disclosure, I wouldn’t want to use the mini for any work/school related tasks. It’s just too small. If this is your intention, go bigger for sure. For just about everything else, the mini won’t disappoint. I still get that tactile enjoyment from sitting down/reclining and opening this up to read, browse, watch, journal, etc. and the wow factor hasn’t gone away.

It’s compact and easy to use with plenty of space and power to get things done on the go.

The Ipad is easy to use, I love the color, the security system, the size, and the light weight of the body that makes easy to carry anywhere. Thank you for making it simple.

Hands down the best combination of everything for the most versatile device I could have. This little guy packs a lot of power and speed into a small and convenient package- and it goes with me everywhere. Watching video content and reading are mostly what I use it for, but I am looking forward to adding a pencil and trying out the art programs available on it, too.

I'm obsessed with smaller tablets and computers. I've tried every single one of them, from small windows PCs to small android tablets from every major manufacturer, and the pen experience, while ok on some, is just not as good as the one with the iPad. Also Procreate is only on iOS. So, with that being said, if you want Procreate and a smaller tablet option, then this really is the only choice. This is from a Windows and Android guy. At this point, with everything on third party services, there's no real difference between the three other than the interface and the exclusive apps. Perfect to hold in the hand for extended periods. Excellent for a quick sketch. The cameras on it are adequate. Everything is snappy and opens quickly. I hate to admit it, but this is probably my current favorite gadget.

The Apple Ipad Mini is a nerd's dream! It feels solid when you pick it up. I have an 11 inch and a 9.5 inch iPad and this is my favorite. The screen is bright, the sound is good and it feels like it belongs in my hands! I love the camera and the video looks great. I also love the fact that I can login by touching a finger on the top right of the iPad (super convenient). Last but not least, it's fast. I understand that this can be a relative metric, how fast is one iPad versus another, but you will love the speed of this device. For the money you could probably get a run of the mill laptop, but this is top of the line technology here. I give this a thumbs up for sure.

Love the ipad mini, super compact, fits well in my tote, and easy to carry around. I love the light weight to it and works super fast. Highly recommend for Business majors with its fast speed and easy to read from even though it’s a mini.

I use this for work - mostly email and web based applications. A normal iPad was just too bulky to put in the portfolio I carry everywhere and this slips into an inside pocket perfectly. It is easier on the eyes than my iPhone, it fits in my back jeans pocket and some coat pockets if I decide to take it elsewhere - I love the longbattery life and smooth screen, it performs faster than my surface book pro laptop in browsing.

The iPad Mini is perfect for me. I take it when I am traveling. It is so very lightweight, perfect. I can work, do zoom calls, write, keep in touch, continue my language lessons, listen to music and watch movies while on the road. The iPad mini takes up little space but is a powerful work horse.
