This is the 5th iPad I’ve owned (4th mini), and they just keep getting better. I love the small size, but big functionality. Upgrades with this version include an available 256gb memory (highly recommend), 2nd gen Apple Pencil compatibility, dual speakers, improved battery life, and an upgraded rear camera with a flashlight (finally!). And, as always, all this in a tablet that I can fin in most pockets. Downsides? The new USB C connector (replacing the lightning connector) and the removal of the control button took some getting used to, but minimal in the grand scope of things.

Mostly because, while exceptional, I do notice the 60hz display. But it’s not a dealbreaker for the device, so I rounded up to 5 stars. I’ve been using it to take notes, jot down shopping lists, and as a peloton-like screen to watch cycling trainers on during my stationary bike workouts on the Peloton app. It’s much more portable than my MacBook, and gives me more screen real estate than my phone. And the performance is fantastic. Not a single hiccup yet.
