It is unfortunate that Apple doesn't make any first party accessories for it like keyboards for the other iPads, but one can get creative with other third party accessories. I don't really notice the widely cited jelly-scrolling issue in day to day usage, but recommend seeing in person.

The size is perfect for travel and not too bulky. With that I am also allowed to comfortably play games for a extended peroid eithoit too much fatigue as well.

The size is really nice, and it’s battery life is excellent too. It’s the typical iPad experience you’d expect, great screen, all day battery life, and good speakers also. For what it is right now, this is probably one of the best iPads for everyday people, if you can live with the small size. Still criminal 64gb is an option in 2023, hopefully that is increased soon.

He is able to watch his favorite you tubers and movies. I set him up an Apple ID so that he can FaceTime grandparents and other family members! I did purchase a case and screen protector to avoid any damage. Also purchased the apple care to cover potential damages and love that I can take it into any Best Buy to be serviced.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my youngest daughter who asked for it for her birthday its great I wish it would have come in the bright pink color like the tenth generation 10.9 in iPad I bought two of those for a more affordable price but hey it’s still amazing the amount of control and ease of using the parental controls is amazing so much better than those Amazon tablets I bought them a few years back. Now my new challenge is monitoring how often and how long I allow them to be on them it’s kinda hard being a single parent but I will figure out how to balance the time and we’ll figure out a system I do recommend purchasing this iPad mini for the 5-7 ish but my 8 and 9 year old have the tenth generation iPad 10.9 inch screen and they are definitely worth the money
