This is my go to device at home now and is the perfect balance between my iPhone screen and my laptop/iPad Pro.

With Apple no linger selling iPods, this is the only alternative in Apple’s line up of products suitable for kids. The price is right along with different colors to choose from. The mini has the right combination of memory and processor speeds to keep your child entertained and not be sluggish like most Android tablets are.
