I got this open box, and on sale, so it was CHEAP, not a scratch on it and ive had it for over a year, ive had no problems with battery life or anything.

Only giving 4 stars haven’t had it that long So far so good my mini seems to be working fine. I had to get use to the new features like how to turn off and the new way of using the Touch ID but once I got the hang of it it’s fine. Nice size very compact. I would recommend purchasing it. New features and all

I purchased a new IPad mini. I am amazed at the difference in the newest model as opposed to older versions. There is no longer a button at the bottom which is great. That is one of the reasons I needed a new one, because that button was worn out. This is definitely a top quality tablet.

It is a fine product in general, lightweight and great new design but I’m surprised to find out it is thicker than iPad mini 4. I have been using iPad Pro and iPhone Pro for the past few years and notice the animation lagging on this iPad mini instantly. It seems to be caused by the low refreshing rate; 60 fps, compared with 120 fps for Pro. However, I don’t remember 60 fps was a problem before iOS 15. I notice the same lagging on iPhone 14 and iPad Air with the M1 chip. Apple is definitely doing something in the software to make the Pro appear more outstanding. I would suggest turn on all the options in the settings for reducing motion. And remember not to leave your Apple Pencil attached on it overnight without charging it. The pencil will drain a lot of battery power from it. Apple needs to fix this.
