The iPad mini is basically what you’d expect from Apple in a tiny package — it feels premium, light, and way more fun to use than you might think just hearing the name. It’s one of those devices where you pick it up and just enjoy holding it.

Perfect size. Upgraded from a mini 5th gen, and I like it. Got it in blue, and it's... kinda bluish? But it's fine. I use it for drawing, and some light gaming, and it works well. Im not an ipad power user, so I don't expect extreme performance. I just close my apps regularly, and mosey about. I also put a matte screen protector on it for drawing, and the screen still looks great.I got the wifi only option, which I kind of still feel crunchy about, but honestly, the lack of a steady stream of notifications and updates makes it easier to focus on drawing. I just update it at home. I don't need 2 "phones" I'm really not that important. All in all, it does what I need, and I'm happy with it.

Great portability if you don’t need something too large. But still bigger than a phone, making it convenient for watching videos or reading on the go. It’s faster than my old 10” model. Love the color and it still looks great in the case.

Absolutely love my mini iPad. Perfect for travel. Easy to study with. I’ve been having it for months now and so far, it works perfectly. Camera is amazing, better than iPhone cameras. I use it to record as well and the quality is good.

Nice tablet. Replaced an older mini that was stolen at the airport. More power, lighter and faster than the last one. Still a bit of a learning curve on it. Slippery so get a case for it.

Best iPad at its truest form for size and portability. Wish Apple would’ve made the bezels smaller and added at least 90hrz but adding the A17Pro chipset is 1000% improvement.

Bought this for my significant other. Really incredible product. Lightning fast, gorgeous display, powerful CPU, seemingly eternal battery life. I will certainly buy this again for myself!

Ended up returning it. Its real practical to use. The size its way too comfortable to carry it, and for daily use you can use it a lot. But it wasnt for me. 500 bucks for a 60 hz lcd screen and crappy speakers. You might as well spend just 100 more and get the ipad air or buy a Samsung base model with Oled screen and 120 hz rr. Added pictures to compare it with a z fold 6 a galaxy tab plus and the MacBook Air

I absolutely love my new iPad Pro! So easy to use, the screen is nice and bright, colors are great. So many things to do on here and so much easier then using a lap top!

My favorite iPad it’s very fast and it doesn’t cost that much. I can take it on the go with me anywhere. The battery is very, very good. I definitely recommend this iPad to everyone

The iPad Mini 7th Generation is almost identical to the 6th gen, but with one key addition: Apple Intelligence. If you’re into note-taking, reading, and writing with the Apple Pencil Pro, this is a near-perfect handheld device. It fits comfortably in your hand, making it great for casual use and light web browsing. Just don’t expect it to replace your gaming iPad, its not for that. For pure readers, though, the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite Signature is still the best choice. The e-ink display is unbeatable for long reading sessions. I grabbed mine with a price-match and a trade in my base model Mini 6. If you already own a 6th gen and it’s running smoothly, you’re probably fine sticking with it unless you really need Apple Intelligence to take your productivity up a notch in 2025. Otherwise wait for the 8th edition which will have a better screen. I give it 4 stars since I can’t tell much difference over my Mini 6.

Perfect device to carry around. I use it for browsing, watching shows, and reading. Light and not too heavy for long reading sessions. Happy that I am able to read Kindle books, iBooks, pdfs, etc., all in one place.

Love this mini iPad. It’s excellent for playing games and social media. Long battery life.

Booktok convinced me I needed an ereader or tablet but I am an Apple people so I decided to get this iPad mini. I really like it. I previously had the largest iPad and once you add the protective case and pencil it gets heavy and large to transport or just hold. With this iPad Mini it’s lightweight even with case protection and it small enough to fit in a smaller bags or be propped up. You can hold it with one hand or add pop sockets or accessories to it.

I recently purchased the Apple iPad mini (A17 Pro), and it has completely exceeded my expectations. As someone who finds larger tablets a bit cumbersome for daily commuting and reading, this 8.3-inch form factor is the absolute "sweet spot." What I Liked: 1) Performance: The A17 Pro chip is incredibly fast. Whether I’m multitasking between apps or handling heavy documents, there is zero lag. 2) Portability: It’s light enough to hold comfortably with one hand for hours while reading or taking notes. It fits perfectly in small bags, making it the best travel companion. 3) Display: The screen is crisp and vibrant, making text very easy to read, which was my primary goal. Overall, this is easily the best small tablet on the market. If you want a pocketable design without sacrificing Pro-level power, the iPad mini A17 Pro is definitely the way to go!

My first Apple tablet was the iPad Mini 6, and I had many ways to use it. Back in 2024 the iPad Mini 7 Pro came out, and on day one I went to BestBuy for it. I used the same case I used for the 6 on the 7 because they aren't that different. The A17 Pro chip was a good investment in a mini tablet, and I liked the updates from the 6.
