I'm definitely glad Apple came out with the iPad Mini in order to compete with Amazon Kindle, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7" and others because the size of the iPad Mini is just perfect. When you hold it in your hands, your hands (usually) don't get tired compared to the regular 9.7" iPad. The Cellular feature is wonderful - makes you think of having a huge cell phone that you can do so much on. Also, including cellular, the battery is wonderful - I wish phones had this long of a battery...even though it'd mean having to have an even larger phone in your hand/ear/etc. The keyboard is the same as the bigger iPad but since it's smaller you can type better on it (I can at least). I wish it had a Retina Display and also a faster processor. When I'm surfing the web, on Facebook or something like that, I've had apps crash on me (and it is starting to do that more often) which can be annoying. The Retina Display would definitely make a huge difference especially when it comes to watching TV Shows or looking at photos. The Lightning Connector is also a huge joke since a lot of people (including me) have dozens of Dock Connector cords laying around the house which makes it harder to charge if you lose the Lightning Cable. Even though you can purchase the Lightning to Dock Connector cable, it's still a pain in the neck. Overall, wonderful battery life, Cellular is extremely wonderful, perfect size but it does need a Retina Display and better processor to make it perfect.

This product is very good in many ways but I mainly bought it so my son could use it.

This item has caused me more pain than gain. Extremely SLOW to retrieve a video sent from grandchildren; slow to retrieve a message...I mean REALLLLLLLLLLy slow. I simply need someone to show me how to use it and understand why in the world it takes so long to open up a msg. I didn't have access to this item for first wk of purchase as no internet available to me; had relative briefly show me how to open up a msg; stylus is useless for the most part. I wish I had returned this in the time allotted as it is a 650.00 piece of junk to me.

this is a great tablet. it is very reliable and fun. it is lightweight which makes it easy to travel with and carry.
