There are some things it won't do, that a MacBook would, but then it's not a MacBook ... so ... And, despite all the atrocities foisted upon me in the last five years by Apple/Mac, it's still WAY better than a PC-clone ... Mac is still intuitive to use, and one can figure out work-arounds (if needed) much more easily than with "other" systems. The camera is great (considering there's not a practical zoom or LONG lens feature), and working with it is mostly instinctive, even for those such as myself, who have been shooting through a viewfinder (by preference) for six decades. I'm not yet used to the extreme sensiitivity of the keypad, but the learning curve isn't overwhelming, as it is with some products.

I got this via a great deal right before the new IPAD Air came out. This is my first apple tablet and I am blown away by how fast and responsive it is compared to my ASUS Transformer Infinity tab. Plus my wife loves this as she is now able to use her sewing and knitting apps that are only available of the Apple store. Overall a great tablet

I bought this Ipad as a Birthday present for my Mother. She Loves it! She has and Apple Desktop computer, so I was sure she would love the ipad for travel or just relaxing on the couch. I have the ipad mini and I also love mine. It's easy to check email, check social media sites, or just check the weather. So much can be done with it. I highly recommend!

My family got the first, second, third, and forth generation IPads and we all love it especially our latest iPad. The graphics are so vibrant and the camera is so sharp. When doing face time, you could see every pores and freckles on a persons face! Love this device and worth the price! It could be a little bit more affordable but I would still pay for it.

This was actually the first tablet that I've ever purchased. After using it for a few weeks, I'd say that it has become my "go-to" device at home for entertainment purposes. It lets me surf the internet at a decent speed anywhere in the house (i.e. when I needed to find a recipe while I wanted to make something in the kitchen!). It sends/receives emails quickly. The screen is just in the right size for online newspaper articles when I just want to be sit comfortably in the living room. In summary, I think it's a great substitute for a personal PC. I own both, but I always find myself leaning towards the Ipad for the functions listed above. The Ipad is simply lighter and easier to carry around in the house. The product's only downside is its battery life. Also, I just prefer to anything work-related (i.e. Word, Excel spreadsheets) on the latop. However, if you are considering about buying one for entertainment uses, I'd highly recommend it.

I purchased this tablet on hopes of replacing my laptop for recreational use. I wanted something less bulky that I could travel with, surf the Internet on the couch, or check my email with anywhere I go. The functionality of the iPad is extremely easy to navigate and the retina display looks great for movies, streaming videos or browsing pictures.

I considered buying an android tablet but went ahead and splurged for the apple iPad. I'm glad I did. It is so user friendly and so fast. I can go from web site to web site faster than my laptop or desk computer. I don't know how I ever did without it. I use it for everything.

I really Love my ipad. It is easy to transport and easy to use. The screen with retina display is very clear and crisp. I am still exploring my new ipad and am sure it is capable of much more than I am currently using it for.

This is my first tablet and I love it. I take it everwhere with me. It provides faster access to my email and with the different apps, I can just "tap" on it and I am in. So it makes availability much easier than going through my laptop. I know it can do much more and so I am still in the process of learning more of its capability. It is so easy to carry - just like a notebook. I didn't know if the smaller screen would bother me but with the exccellent resolution it truly does not matter with the size. I love using it to view video that I have recorded because you can zoom in which came in handy when I had taken video, with another camera, of sea turtles on the beach. Without zooming in the turtles looked like the rocks on the beach. But when I zoomed in you could clearly see the turtles without it blurring. My husband even loved using it for reading, which was shocking because he prefers big screen monitors for his computer. I still have to keep my laptop though. I have a business with a website and cannot make any adjustments to it with the ipad. Also, I wish i could save things, straight from the ipad to a SD card for more storage. This I have to do through my laptop. But all in all its a good little tablet.

I love the IPad...it does everything I want it to do. The retina display is awesome. The only drawback I have found is it does not function very well at all with a wifi signal that is not really strong. My laptop does much better in those situations. The other drawback is that I really believe it is grossly overpriced, like most Apple products.

I got the iPad from my husband for Christmas. I love it. I use it to read email and surf the net, use the apps - but most especially I like to play Words with Friends and I can see the letters much better on the iPad. I was the sole user until yesterday when my husband "discovered it." He is now surfing the net and enjoying it immensely also. I love the way it "syncs" with my other "i" products - my iMac and iPhone. We are "older users" - I remember when we didn't have computers - and it is easy to use. If you are confused about any aspect of use, just ask someone at Best Buy or at the Apple store. I got lessons when I purchased my iMac at the Apple Store and they helped me with an iPad class there even though i bought the iPad at Best Buy. I like getting the points at Best Buy!

This is the only Apple product I have. I have a desktop PC, a Dell laptop, and an Android phone. I gave it a lot of though when deciding which tablet to purchase. In the end I simply decided to go with the standard. I am sure some of the others are terrific, as well; but I don't regret the decision. It have had it since the first week of March and am still exploring all the ways I can use it. I have been laid up at home for a couple of weeks and it has been my constant companion for everything from watching TV shows I missed, to reading (still love my kindle, but this one doesn't need a light so is less disturbing to the hubster when he is trying to sleep). There is instruction readily available to anyone who might be intimidated or have a question. In short-love it!

iPad tablets may cost a bit more than others, but the number and quality of the apps can't be beat. They are practical, easy to use, and user-friendly. My eyes LOVE the full size Ipad (vs the mini). iPad speed and intuition still can't be beat by the lower priced tablets. It's all around a great product and price is well-worth it!

I love my new iPad with Retina Display! So easy to use. I used to have a tablet and worried I would miss the freedom of app choices, but there are so many that are the same in iPad apps. was easy to get setup and adding apps right away. I Love the graphics, everything is so crisp & clear. very slim & lightweight, even in my new Clamcase. (which has a keyboard & makes it work like a small Mac book.) The sound is yet another bonus I didn't realize could be so good. No need to use earphones to hear movies and music. Audio books can be heard well also! So far no problems with battery life. I do plug in nightly out of habit. So glad the hubby bought this for me for my birthday! Great item for a great price! So happy to now be an APPLE girl!

I upgraded from the 1st generation ipad. Traded it in at BestBuy. They gladly gave me a gift card which I used in my new purchase. I love the Retina display. So easy to use. I highly recommend the new ipad 4. BestBuy has very knowledgeable people working. They know most of the answers to your questions. I use my ipad 4 daily.

I bough this tablet to experience apple product. I am not a apple fan. However, great was my surprise after i started to use this tablet. The interface that apple offers is easy and colorful, the memory is a little bit small (16GB). I would recommend to buy at least 32GB in order to have more space to store videos and music. in other hand, kids love apple interface because is very easy to operate, my 3 and 8 years old do not have any issues getting their apps and videos. If you are looking for a product that is very easy to operate and has a enough power to run your apps... and obviously you have the money... go for it.

Tried to purchase one on an auction site and it was selling for more than what I would pay for on such a site so I decided to just buy one out right. I went to Best Buy (always great stuff) and got a lot of help deciding which one to buy. I ended up buying the 16GB with Retina display and love it!!! It is compatible with the Square card reader (which I use a lot for our Pack 716 functions). I'll be watching tv and would want to research something I saw and it connects wirelessly with ease!! The color is great and seting it up to use is the easiest even for someone like me that has never had one. Best buy I have ever made!

This is our 2nd tablet. We have the original tablet and now we bought the 4th gen. It is much faster and the camera is much better. I love watching TV shows on it. It was a hard decision on which tablet to buy but as you can see the IPAD 4th generation won.
