My new iPhone 12 cost over $1000 with accessories and a 2-year warranty. I replaced it because my iPhone 5 had become unreliable in holding a charge, and its usefulness during traveling for mapping was therefore compromised. The new phone does charge more rapidly and hold a charge longer than the old one. However, I still cannot download my entire inbox or other folders from my E- mail client, or search the messages rapidly or reliably.
