The price is the only reason i am not hitting it 5 stars... The case fit like a glove, of course it does since it is made by the manufacturer of the device. The leather is very high quality and it has coating on the finish that feels like it can actually endure abuse and moisture. The buttons are nothing like any other  previous case, they are very clicky and require almost no effort to press... the best thing about the case is actually the MagSafe magnet built in it. When i use the  wallet with it the connection is perfect and it always center itself regardless of how i put it on. The MagSafe charger is also a must, only gripe is that when the charge is under 20% it tend to get very warm ( not hot ) until it reaches about 80% then is all good. I love the case as it makes the device easier to hold, the only thing i did not like is the price...$49 would’ve been a more reasonable price for it. I will recommend this case still if you can look pass the price .

Love it!! I’ve owned Apple’s leather case on my previous device, iPhone XS for two years, and also owned on the silicone case on my work phone iPhone XS. I hated holding my work phone because I was so used the the amazing leather feeling on my personal iPhone. It’s as low profile as you can get with the best protection and feeling for your iPhone 12 Pro Max. I highly recommend it!

The Apple Leather Case is good!! …. so far. Almost immediately, I felt the coarseness of the leather this year. It’s definitely not the same leather that they used in two years ago for the iPhone XS. It feels a bit cheaper, at least in my hands. The color is just as good as before, though, and the case actually goes around all edges, including the bottom near the lightning port and speaker/mic grilles. This case with a leather MagSafe wallet looks incredibly good. I’m curious to see how this ages. So overall, great case so far. Not a 5-star because the leather feels cheaper than previous iterations of Apple’s 1st party leather cases, but still a solid case.

The case is amazing. Very slim doesn’t stick on anything and never leaves fingerprints. I’ve only had it for a couple days and already gotten 10 compliments definitely would recommend it. That’s why is the place to get any iPhone or Apple items I only shop there I always will. Because come on the customer service is better than anywhere else especially Amazon.. there a pain sometimes but with Best Buy I’ve never had anything but great service.

I like this cover and it’s my second one. I like its simplicity, yet it looks rich, and its durability. I have given it a ‘5’ but I think it’s a little expensive. I like the quality.

Good case. It has a very nice, slim, design. Fits well on the phone. I would highly recommend this cell phone case to a friend.

Apple makes some nice products, however after having it for only a month, there is some obvious wear on the bottom. Not a huge deal as it is a case and cases take constant wear from the environment. I wish Apple would lower the price, $40? Seems reasonable. I have not dropped my phone yet, so I cannot test durability. Looks very sleek!

Best Apple case out there. Very stylish and elegant. Downside is that it’s very susceptible to scratching from daily use. Keep away from water.

It’s best to stick to another reliable phone case. I purchased to use in the meantime my Casetify case was shipped. On the first low impact drop the case did not stay in place causing my phone to get scratched on rim of the screen. Screen would have cracked if it was a higher impact. Made out of cheap quality, does not sustain a low level impact the case came apart and did not hold my phone in place.

Absolutely unacceptable! I was charged full price for a used open box item. support offers $5 or return which i live in a rural area and work 7 days a week. Couldn’t just charge me for the used item.

Apple's new Leather Case for the iPhone 12 Pro Max, is a perfect fit, very easy to install on the phone, protects against the phone from slipping out of your hand. Leather is high quality, the pricing was less expensive than previous Apple iPhone leather cases and Best Buy had it in stock. I highly recommend this Apple case.

Hear I am with a $25 gift card from Best Buy that I earned from pass purchases. I was like what the heck, Apple finally covered the bottom part of the iPhone cases (why did they not have that portion protected in the first place, anyone’s guest). I love leather cases and it now comes with a bonus magnet that I can charge through (super win). Well I get in finally after being backordered for about 2 weeks and all I can say is I LOVE IT! It has a way lower profile then my Nomad case I’ve been using for 3 years, it feels good in the hand, the buttons THE BUTTONS It’s pressing heaven!. Did I mention how much I love how these buttons feel. I use a wiz gear magnet setup in my car and it works flawlessly with this case. I Literally get in the car, put my phone close to the magnet and I’m off. I plan on wiring a MagSafe charger in my car so when I place it in the same place it starts charging. With all that being said this case LOOKS GOOD, FEELS GOOD AND SMELLS GOOD. The verdict isn’t out on durability or actual phone protection, but it feels very promising with the design they put together here.

Best case i’ve ever owned for any iPhone, period. The look, feel, functionality, and materials are excellent. No other case out there has this type of quality, and it’s MagSafe compatible. Best features: *The buttons function effortlessly as if you aren’t using a case at all *Unlike older leather iPhone cases, this case goes all the way across the bottom of the phone, versus old designs where the bottom of the case stopped at either edge, leaving the front edge exposed with no protection *Installation was a breeze, and this case fits the phone like a glove. No sagging or fatigue after a few weeks of daily use. Really happy with this case and plan on purchasing more colors.

Great feel and looks awesome. Works with mag safe accessories but importantly works well with any of the wireless charging pads (including the ones built into my cars). I replaced a “Peel” ultra thin case and I don’t feel this adds too much bulk but def way ups the protection.

Fits well, looks good and so far has held up well. I went with the tried and trusted black color but boy of boy that saddle brown one looks good too. The elephant in the room is the price and It is a hard pill to swallow no matter how you put it. An otterbox case would provide more protection at a cheaper price. The reason I chose this is because it offered the best mix of aesthetics, comfort, size, protection and magsafe compatibility. It's a jack of all trade and master of none with the "apple tax" tagged on the price. Would I buy it again? RIP wallet but the answer is yes.

First things first, I’ve worked in the wireless industry for a decade, in sales, management, and more, and because I’ve seen every way a person can possibly destroy a phone, I’ve always been big on carrying device insurance AND a good case and I’ve never been a fan of Apple’s leather cases because generally I’ve seen them fail to protect the phone they’re on. They’ve been open at the bottom exposing almost 1/4 of the phone to damage, and the lack of shock protection always made me take a hard pass on them. I guess Apple realized their mistake and now the case covers the back and all sides of the phone which I’m a fan of. I will say this, I wish they would beef up the bezel around the screen a bit more and also around the cameras because the bezel is about a millimeter higher than either the camera lens or the screen which is cutting it a bit too close for me to be really comfortable with. That said, it has a few things going for it. 1. The flattened sides of the new iPhone 12 line (like the old 5/5s/original SE) make the phone easier to hang on to for me (I dropped my previous iPhone models with the rounded edges every single day multiple times per day, and I’ve dropped my 12PM maybe 5 times in 2 months) but the leather surface also enhances the grip quite a bit more. 2. The edges are actually pretty well padded. I’ve dropped my phone in this case a couple times and the positive is it didn’t so much as scratch my phone. The downside is it roughed up the case pretty badly. The leather was gouged out, little pieces missing from the fall on rough asphalt. It looked rough and being the person I am I had to replace it. It was still functional, but it looked god awful. So yes it probably will protect your phone against day to day drops and certainly against standard use, it may look pretty bad in the process, and for the price tag if you’re hard on phones it may not be the best option.

Recently switched back to iPhone after being a Samsung user for a while. With my Samsung phone, I explicitly used leather cases and loved the feel of them. I was really happy to learn that Apple made them for their phone. While it's expensive, you're getting quality. It's sturdy, doesn't slip, and looks really nice. Plus it has the MagSafe feature built into it and chargers wirelessly.

Its still early and only a few options for Magsafe cases. Apple is the safest bet. There are a bunch of Chinese ones on Amazon but you can't trust they will fit or work properly. You have Otterbox as an option too but they cost more or the same as Apple. So I decided to break down and get the Apple Case. With the Apple case you know you'll get quality for a price. The Magsafe works well to the point you can mount your magsafe charger to another magnetic charger and the phone won't go flying off with some aggressive driving. Not that I'm saying you should aggressive drive... Or that I'm driving aggressively... maybe i am... The black case does a good job of preventing scratches. There have been some moments I thought I had for sure scratched the case but there was nothing. Avoid the Saddle brown if you don't like scratches. It scratches very easily. They like to call it "Patina" but its just a scratch to me. All in all, I'm happy with the case but I'm not happy with the price I paid for it. I'm sure there will be more options in a few months.
