Coming from the awesome base android on my retired Google Pixel 3 XL, I was really way up high on the fence on whether I should go Bach to the Apple ecosystem on the go-around. Niggling issues with the Pixel along troubling (Google) Pixel 6 Pro issues, along with my Pixel 3’s refusal to reconnect with my home WiFi, and the basic issues experienced by non-novice Pixel 6 Pro issues forced the decision to try the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I am quite surprised that I am very happy with the new iPhone! While the automated transfer process aborted four times without any info as to what was the problem, my aborting the process wasn’t a disaster. The only issue, which I didn’t like, was the app not transferring my Verizon messages. Fortunately, all was not lost, because Verizon provides their Message+ app, which supplies my message history. It requires using both iMessage and Message+ When I may need an older post, but it works. Everything else transferred. I had many niggling issues with the old Pixel 3, which I thought were simply due to the apps, but the iPhone fixed everything! My conclusion is that the issues were with the Google phone, and are still there in the Google 6 Pro phone! I don’t think I’m wrong in this conclusion. I am an electronics engineer and a well above average geek. Google must fix their hardware problems for the Pixel 7 iteration, or give up on hardware and focus on the Android OS. The iPhone’s images are pretty good, but the telephoto shots look very processed. Getting better, however. This phone’s battery life is the best, to date for any phone: the M1 mobile processor is definitely at the state of the art!

I Love Apple products what can I say? I’ve never had a problem with it, love the quality, camera, color everything about it is great.

Having been a loyal Android user(Samsung) for over a decade, my family convinced me to try an iPhone. With the help of Samantha at my Best Buy in San Bernardino, the transition has been painless. I’m glad I made the switch! I had high expectations and the 13 pro max has not let me down and the camera is phenomenal!

I've had been using my iPhone 6s Plus till it decided to depart me. Now that I have made this great upgrade, I must say this has been the best. So far not much has changed but a sunset lover and a Barber who seeks perfect photos, this has truly been an amazing experience.

So far so good. I upgraded from the iPhone 11 pro max and the battery difference is insane. The phone runs so smoothly and quickly. Much better service with this phone than the iPhone 11 pro max- though I've heard the bands inside are different since it's now a 5G phone. Heavy phone, but the screen real estate is great compared to the iPhone 11 pro max. The smaller notch is nice but I didn't have a problem with the other notch before so that wasn't a big deal for me. Upgraded from 11 Pro Max. Probably could have waited another year. Pros: Battery life is insane. Could probably get 2 days of use after one full charge. Fast. Smooth app transitions. Slightly crisper display. Cons: Definitely heavier than 11 Pro Max. Feels more solid though. 4 stars as I don’t feel the price justifies what is basically a minimal upgrade for a full price, but Apple gonna Apple. Wouldn’t recommend Best Buys “home delivery” service. It’s through geek squad, not a regular delivery service. Was less than stellar. Late/lost shipment with minimal customer support. Highly recommend going to store or doing curbside pickup.

Upgraded from an iPhone 7 Plus and it appears that Apple really made some huge improvements. I also have an iPhone 11 and the 13 is much faster, far superior camera and optics. The physical body is well made, feels solid and something you would expect from a high end phone. Considering the cost of a premium phone, I haven't come across any disappointments. The Super Retina XDR display is phenomenal and crystal clear. And, the leap to 5G and WiFi 6 is finally here.

Upgraded from the iPhone XR and i am soooo happy with this new phone. The screen is ridiculous in size and it’s superrr fast. The camera on it is soooo nice and worth the price. Even the battery! I work overnights and I’m always on my phone. By the end of my shift I’m still at 50% without it being on power save mode! I’ll be keeping this phone for awhile.

Absolutely love this phone. I love the size, color, memory, camera and speed of it. The battery lasts me all day long which is rare for a cell phone for me. Im almost constantly on it for one reason or another. I have an otterbox case on it and have dropped it a lot and never had it break anywhere, I love this phone but will be upgrading to the 14 very soon,

This phone is incredible, and a much bigger upgrade than it may seem initially. The biggest upgrades are the screen and battery. 120Hz vs 60Hz is a huge difference when you compare them side by side. Experiencing 120Hz for the first time is awesome, you'll never want to go back to 60Hz again. The screen is so smooth and looks great. The battery is also a huge upgrade as it's significantly better than last year's. The bigger battery and improved efficiency really show as I can easily go 2 days without charging. The cameras are without a surprise excellent quality as well, and the notch is smaller. The build of course feels very premium and is also noticeably heavier than the 12 Pro Max, but you quickly get over that. Overall, you cannot go wrong with this iPhone.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? It's the newest iPhone, great display, lightning fast, oh and even better battery life! I like the form factor of it with the flat edges, kind of nostalgic to the iPhone 4 & 5. I regularly switch back and forth between iPhone and droid (my last droid being the S21 Ultra) and I can't really say anything negative about either, the screen is hair better on the droid, but realistically you probably wouldn't notice in day-to-day use. The S21 Ultras cameras were insane, but with this new offering from Apple I feel like they have closed that gap with the exception of 5000x zoom or however much it was. What keeps drawing me back to iPhone is the simplicity of everyday things, like photos, iMessage, calendars and how they all automatically sync to the cloud. Yes, droid does all of these things too, but it takes more effort and sometimes separate apps to accomplish the same things, where the iPhone just does it. Pick your poison, both sides make amazing phones now a days.

The battery lasts for 10+ hours of heavy usage. I do deliveries with Apple Maps, music in the background, and the occasional phone call and I can make it through a 10-11 hour work day without needing to change it. My S20 needed to be charged twice a day for comparison. The cameras, OLED display, and speakers are all excellent. And the A15 bionic chip is simply ahead of it’s time, making this phone lightning fast to switch between apps. I think one of the best things about switching to iPhone is the effortless RAM management and never having to close an app. A near instantaneous experience when switching from app to app without any slow downs from having too much open. the durability, flat edges and rounded corners make this phone feel premium and is perfect to hold. I’m not an Apple fan. I use Windows and always stuck with Android. But this phone simply works better than anything else out there right now.

I’ve had this device about a week now and I couldn’t be happier. Even upgrading from the 12 pro max, it’s a bigger upgrade than sone people are saying it is. Yes it doesn’t look much different but once you start using it you’ll see and feel it’s quite the upgrade. For me the pro motion 120hz display was the biggest feature is was wanting. It didn’t disappoint. It’s so smooth easier on my eyes. The other thing for me that I am super impressed with is the battery life over my 12 pro max. I used to come home from work all day with about 40% left. Now it’s about 65-70%. I can go two days without a charge if I had to. The cameras are super nice but I’m not a huge camera person so I can’t give a detailed review. They are really good though. The complaint about it only being 20watt charging I don’t have a problem with because I only charge my phone at night most of the time. It’s fast enough. Plus the battery life is so good it’s really not an issue I care about. This phone is an A+++
