Nice but not integrated enough

If I used the ‘always on’ Screen display feature it ate my battery. I was told the digital island would show me if I had notifications without touching my phone like the old galaxy s8 had the indicator lights. That’s absolutely not the case. That was a huge disappointment for me as the digital island was neat, it isn’t integrated with enough third party apps yet. I returned mine and continued using my iPhone 12.
