Phone is beautiful, but activation is a nightmare. e-Sim is half-baked. Been working with Verizon support for over an hour and still can't get the stupid thing to activate! Argh!

Great camera, battery life, and screen, with plenty of memory. Feels solid and durable and has survived into 2025!

Phone keeps turning off by itself 5 to 10 times a day. Verizon will replace the phone once they get it back in stock. Battery life is poor on this phone. It might be just the lemon so we will see once I get the new phone.

I’ve been an iPhone guy since the 4s (and was an Apple Watch guy until the Garmin Epix 2nd gen but that’s a different review). I had an iPhone X, skipped the 11 (I think), briefly had a 12 and, most recently, had the 13 mini. The mini was a great size but the crazy masses think that bigger is better so the mini is no more. The 14 Pro is my first Pro iPhone and it is excellent. Face ID is faster than ever (although I maintain that Touch ID was more convenient). The screen is gorgeous and responsive. I think True Tone was released with the X and I immediately turned it off: the screen was constantly changing color and it wasn’t any sort of great feature at the time at all, IMHO. Well, I finally decided to turn it back on after four years and, holy cow!, did Apple ever improve it in the meantime! Like I said, the screen goes from being ho-hum to gorgeous now! Colors really pop after having turned True Tone on. (Maybe all the rest of you already knew this but I get a little tired of Apple over promising and under delivering so I tend to not use features when they under deliver but then I miss out when the reality finally, eventually, maybe catches up to their promises.) The Dynamic Island is a ho-hum feature out of the box so I’m looking forward to them doing more with that and hopefully not just eventually killing it off like they did with Force Touch (under delivered). The always-on display is okay and battery life is definitely better than it was on my mini. The trade-off is that phone is too darn big but there’s always a trade-off in life. I’m using the Accessibility setting’s double- and triple-tap settings for Reachability and Home, respectively (in case that helps anybody out). Lately, Deep Purple is a great color but I’ve got it hidden behind a case.

It’s a good phone. I have been having good luck with the battery life. Display is beautiful, which I’ve come to expect from an Apple device. I would recommend if you’re coming from an older generation iPhone. If you’re debating over upgrading from last years model I wouldn’t unless you really have to have the latest gear or really want dynamic island.

Upgraded from an iPhone 13 Pro. Battery life is much worse. I had to shut off the always on screen to help a little. The positive is the better camera for stills and the image stabilization for the video. If battery lifer were better or equal to the 13 I would be happy. Based on owning it since 10/1/22 to 11/6/22

They will sell you a phone and activate it to an account without verifying identification. Twice now Best Buy has been the phone seller and activator for a phone fraudulently added to my account. BEWARE!
