    The phone works great. So far no noticable bugs or system issues. I appreciate that the storage being larger as standard, the high refresh rate screen makes everything feel crisp, and the nice pro camera makes pictures feel professional. Overall nice, just not looking forward to next year when Apple slows down this phone to pressure me into buying the next one.

    Had some issues partially activating out of box, and also had the camera shaking bug in 3rd party applications. Both have since been fixed by software updates and I've had no other issues. The size of this in comparison to my 13 Pro is amazing, and the battery life blows my 13 Pro out of the water. If you are using a 13 model I wouldn't recommend this, BUT if you are using an iPhone 11 or later and are considering an upgrade the 14 Pro Max is awesome. The pro's: Truly all day battery life Excellent gaming performance Video playback is amazing Dynamic Island flawlessly just works The con's: Flashlight/Flash is noticeably dimmer than the 13 Pro Speakers possibly quieter as well (most noticeable on Facetime) Notifications on Always On Display sometimes wake up the display and other times do not The pro's heavily outweigh the con's for me but they do still exist. Overall if you are upgrading from a much older model then this is the best to get currently with the newest gen hardware. If you are upgrading from something more recent like the 12 or 13 line up, it might be worth waiting another gen or 2.
