First off I upgraded to an iPhone 7 from an original IPhone 5. To say there's been an improvement in performance is reductive. It's been astronomically better overall. Speed, response, and feel are all vastly improved. It no longer feels like the phone is trying to play catch up to an OS that uses to much processing for the phone to achieve. The camera is a huge improvement in dark lighting and for FaceTime. I have not shot any 4K video yet though. It's much louder. Like my alarms scare me in the morning loud to the point where I don't keep it on full volume ever. The size is great, when typing two hands I wish I had the plus but one typing one handed which is more often I'm glad I stayed with the regular 7. Haven't used the new lightning headphones since I tend to stream to Bluetooth speakers more than listen on phones

I upgraded from an iohone 6s. I had pre-ordered the new Iphone 8 but ended up not liking it. This phone 7 is practically the same only better looking. The camera is great, and best of all it’s water resistant.

I have had iPhones for many years now, so I'm used to the interface. The iPhone 7 has been great. It's a little faster and better pictures than my last iPhone, but otherwise another great Apple product. The one thing I have had to get used to is the change to how you plug in your headphones. Using an adapter is a little different and it's one more thing I have to remember to carry with me when I plan to use my headphones. Otherwise, the phone doesn't seem that different than my last one.

Most of the upgrades seem trivial, but they’re great nonetheless. Camera is awesome. Increased storage is great. Losing the headphone port took getting used to but the included adapter is perfect.

Upgraded to the iPhone 7 from an iPhone 5S. Great phone...seems much faster with better battery life and features. Was considering the new iPhone 8, but this seems to work great for lower cost.

iphone 7 has far better performance than iphone 6. It seems it is using some encryption mechanism while storing photos, i am not getting out of storage warnings that i was getting in iphone 6.

My iPhone 5S was finally giving out after 3 years of having it. I came on Black Friday, the line wasn't too long and the Best Buy employee was so helpful and the whole process took less than 15 minutes. The phone it's self is sleek, battery life is much better than my old phone. I usually will only need to charge it 3 times a week after it dies completely, the camera is nice, and surprising, the loss of the headphone jack isn't an issue. Overall great device.

Gone are the days of waiting in lines to get the new iPhone. Wifey was eligible for an upgrade and saw Best Buy offered same trade in credit as AT&T where 24 Next payments are credited if you turn in a iPhone 6. Essentially the new 2 year contract. She appears happy with the phone but the phone guy knew ABSOLUTELY nothing about the phone or sales process. Luckily the ATT Apple Rep was at the Regis next to me and facilitated the transaction. I no longer use an iPhone but I keep up. He was. Unaware that the ATT and Verizon models are the same but require SIM activatiom. They use Intel modems instead of Qualcomm. He was unaware of the lightning headphone adapter and headphones being included. The most disappointing part of the transaction is that after asking to enter my Rewards Zone number he signs me up for a new account. Really?? He tells me it's just for "New My Mobile." Luckily the Rewards Zone Phone rep cleaned his mess up pretty quickly....but I'll never get that 10 minutes back. The iPhone 7 does not fit cases from the 6 because of the camera cutout. The antenna bands on the back have been moved to the sides. The home button is not a button anymore but gives haptic feedback. The phone is mm's thinner due to the loss of the headphone jack, but you get a larger battery. Wife commented about changes in iOS 10. She got the 128gb Rose Gold.

I decided to finally switch to an IPhone. I am pleasantly surprised with this phone. The battery life is amazing. The camera takes great pictures. Call quality is what I expected it to be. Not better than my old Samsung, but not worse. The operation is quick and fluid. I really like the iMessage feature. Seems like my messages are sent and received much quicker than I'm used to. Overall, I would recommend this phone to anyone.

Love the iPhone 7. The camera is very crisp and nice. The quality of phone calls is excellent - can hear other caller crystal clear. Home button feels weird until you get used to it but no issues with it after comfortable with it. Just do not like that you cannot charge your phone and listen to aux cord plugged in for music at same time. I've heard there is a cord to adapt for this but that of course is more money.....

I like the phone. I can tell you it is the most resilient iPhone I've ever owned. Love the water proofness but haven't tested that fully yet. The lack of a headphone port is more of pain than I thought it would be. Lost the adapter day after I bought the phone. I also don't see a big improvement over my 6S. I wish I had purchased the plus now after finding out the difference between the two is bigger than I thought. I don't mean to be real negative. It is a great phone just not a game changer but it does what it's supposed to better than any other. And I also have Androids. Tablets mostly. Honestly I'm very curious about the new Amazon phone but what I've heard is hearsay.

When i got this phone and tried it out. That was it. Impressed, impressed, impressed...what else can i say. Im hooked.the speed, the camera and graphics. Awesome.

Many people knock on each new iPhone as unoriginal, already outdated, etc. Bottom line is the phones just seem to work, and each one does get better. By leaps and bounds? Perhaps not but I don't personally care. The camera is much improved with more features and editing abilities, and the battery life is MUCH better. Not having a 3.5mm headphone jack? No big deal to me at all. I have enjoyed the phone greatly.

I like the quality of the photos. Great camera. Phone is nice and slim. Powerful as it looks. Great that it is water-resistant. Will hold on to this phone for a few years.

Upgraded when Best Buy was offering $250 gift card to trade in 5s for 7. Phone is great - fast, like the bigger screen, been very reliable so far. Not wild about the aux port getting the ax. Will say that the phone comes wit an adapter to make it possible to use any headphones with an aux end. Also comes with wired ear buds with the lightning port on the end. Wanted to mention this in case you have favorite headphones you use now that are auxillery (I do for running) because you could put the adapter on them but then still have wired apple pods to use without needing to get adapter since they have lightning built in.

The iPhone 7 is an awesome phone to get. I was a little undecided on getting the phone due to not owning an iPhone before. I went with my guts and actually liked the phone a lot! The pros of the phone is that it runs really smooth, camera is amazing, and the color of the phone is simply astonishing. The only con would be the price. Overall it's a great phone and easy to use.

My husband and I were discussing our next phone upgrade and we're looking at the SE because we wanted to keep something smaller than the large "mini-tablet" size phones. Going from 5S to the SE seemed like the logical step. A co-worker showed me how her 6S in a minimum case was about the same size as as my 5S in a lifeproof case. Showing my husband the comparable sizes and explaining the water resistance of the new iPhone 7 meant no need for the durable lifeproof case convinced us to get the new iPhone 7 instead of the SE. With the invisible shield glass screen protection and the tech21 case, the phone was only slightly larger than our old phone. So we went ahead with the 128GB to ensure we don't run out of space. This phone is so much faster. The biometrics is enhanced. Graphics are spectacular. The audio is crystal clear an issue we were having issues with our 5S. The way this works with the Bluetooth in our cars is improved as well.
