Poor Technical Assistance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The product itself, the iPhone 7, is excellent but the technical support provided by the Best Buy employee was deplorable and that is why I selected an overall rating of Average. I specifically made this purchase at the store rather than online in order to receive assistance in moving over my apps, pictures, videos, contacts, etc. I made a backup of my old iPhone information in iCloud and expected the salesperson to assist me in restoring this information. However, I was told, after I purchased the phone, that the internet connection in the store was down and that I would have to perform the restore function at home, and at that point it was too late to cancel the purchase because he had already deactivated my old phone. How lame is that? The biggest electronic retailer in the area did not have adequate internet access? When he told me that, I thought he was pulling my leg. I will never buy another phone at this retailer nor do I recommend that anyone else do so. I should have just gone to an Apple Store.
