I hesitated upgrading for a long time as I don't want to carry around a huge phone, like many of the ones I see people with. However, this model is just slightly longer than the 4s, much more screen area, half the thickness, and so much lighter. Am very pleased with the upgrade!

Mt 5 star review is mostly for the service we received at Best Buy, although it got off to a rocky start due to a lack of salespeople, the transaction went well after that.

seems heavier but in a good way

While it seems a little heavier at side by side comparison, it is weighted and balanced very well so it does not become an issue. I am adjusting to not having a headphone jack (just need to get an additional adaptor or find some wireless headphones with the quality I am looing for...)

So glad I made the choice. I especially love the excellence of the battery life as I only charge this phone every other day even with consistent usage. I was charging my android twice a day and it was seriously frustrating. This phone is great!
