I was super excited to see what this new phone was going to offer over my Silver 6. My husband and daughter went from a 6 to a 6S plus, but I held out for the 7S Plus and I'm glad I did. The increase in size isn't all that much different, and I got accustomed to it right away. Without a case, the phone is very thin and feels a little flimsy or vulnerable in my hands. I found that I constantly felt like it was going to slip or somehow pop out of my hands. I bought a case as soon as I could, and feel more at ease with it now. I haven't really been able to see much of a difference in the camera upgrade. I do like the 2x zoom by touch feature though. The Haptic touch took a little while to get used to. I was so used to the actual click. I'm not a "pink" person but the Rose Gold color is pretty nice. (I had the silver 6 before). I love the memory size... I have plenty of space for all my pics and videos so it will make it easier to use my iMovie app and edit graphics used for advertising.

The portrait mode is amazing! I'm also glad to have the extra memory. Attached is a picture using Portrait mode.

This phone is beautiful and has more than enough storage. I am an Apple user for life.

The only issue that I have with this phone is that the color was not released at launch. I already owned a 7 plus but I had to have the red. It is truly a fantastic shade of red. The OS is still the best OS available on a smartphone and makes android look like an OS for preschoolers. Makes the s8 feel like trash.

The battery could have been better than one extra hour and camera could be a bit better. Overall a great phone.

The camera is great, especially the low light capability. See my attached photo comparison between the iPhone 6 plus and this iPhone 7 plus. The home button is no problem. It is really fast. My iPhone 6 plus mophie ca battery case works! I did have to remove the black inlay on the top section, but it does pry out fairly easily. I am going to use the camera to record 4k video at 30fps and the 256gig storage will come in handy. No more storage problems for a while.

PROS: - Fantastic camera - Great battery life - Great build quality - Timely updates (no guessing if/when you'll get the new OS update) - Local support at any Apple store - IP67 water+dust resistance CONS: - No quick/fast charge - No headphone jack (if don't own bluetooth headphones/earbuds) - Only 5GB of iCloud storage (you pay for more) I've been an Android user since the original Motorola Droid came out in late 2009 (and was a Blackberry user before that). I never thought that I would "switch sides", but lately I've become more frustrated with Android's fragmentation problem (less than 10% of Android users are on Nougat, and Android "O" is going live later this fall). I hated not knowing if/when my phone was going to see the new OS, meanwhile my mom's iPhone 5C (which is almost 4 years old) has the latest version of iOS. It's been over three weeks since trading in my Galaxy S7 for the iPhone 7 Plus, and I couldn't be happier about switching to the iPhone. I love the battery life on the 7 Plus. I charge my phone in the morning while drinking coffee and going over emails, use it through the day, leave it on my nightstand over night, and then charge it up again the next morning. I can't think of a single time where I needed to grab a charger in the middle of the day or evening. The camera is great, but it's not a massive improvement over the S7. The zoom and "portrait mode" are cool, but I don't really use them most days. Photos and videos turn out great, I can't complain about the camera on this phone. What I CAN complain about is iCloud storage. $1.00 a month for 50GB of storage isn't going to break the bank or anything, but it feels bad when even Microsoft gives you 30GB of free storage with OneDrive, while Apple only gives you 5GB. Some people complain about the lack of a headphone jack, but I prefer my bluetooth headphones and earbuds, so I don't mind at all. Apple does include the lightning adapter in the box so you can still connect traditional 3.5mm headphones/earbuds to your iPhone.

The last two iPhones were the 6 Plus and a 6s. I can confidently say the new iPhone 7 Plus is the best iPhone Apple has ever made. Not only that, but it is currently the best smartphone on the market right now. The A10 chip paired with 3GB of ram makes this phone fly! It really is so much faster than my 6 Plus I used to have. The display is absolutely gorgeous and it is the most color accurate mobile display ever created. It's a joy to use and IP67 water resistance, stereo speakers, dual camera, and Jet Black finish are just cherries on top. This is one good looking phone in Jet Black. Great job Apple!

Great iPhone if you are upgrading from a 6 Plus or from an older generation iPhone. If you have a 6S or 6S Plus I would wait for the next generation iPhone. The camera on the iPhone 7 Plus is a huge upgrade from my iPhone 6 Plus. If you are upgrading, as I did, you will need to purchase another case due to the dual cameras on the iPhone 7 Plus. The 256GB capacity is overkill, but, it's better to have extra storage just in case. The new IOS is somewhat glitchy, however, like all new device launches Apple will fix them with IOS updates. Apple finally released an iPhone that is water resistant! And, as of yet these phones do not have "a battery cell issue", therefore, it will not result in fires or explosions.

I have had my new iPhone 7 Plus for at least a couple of months, now. It has more functionality than my iPhone 6, and my favorite thing is the fingerprint reader capability. Sometimes my iPhone 6 fingerprint reader worked, and sometimes it didn't. I think the OtterBox case might have impeded the reader on the 6, because the case had a film that covered the reader. It was frustrating and simply easier to type in the passcode. On my new 7 I have multiple fingerprints loaded, so I can use either hand even if I am holding something else. I also have one of my wife's fingerprints loaded so she doesn't have to remember the upgraded 6 digit passcode. The larger screen is fantastic. It is much easier to look at maps and read documents/contracts with the larger screen. The camera is wonderful, also. For the first time I think I actually got too much memory. I could have done fine with 128 gig instead of paying for the best at 256 gig. I would certainly recommend the iPhone 7 Plus highly.

I preordered my iPhone 7+ JetBlack through BestBuy.com at midnight as soon as the preorders opened. I was delighted to see that I would be getting my iPhone on the release day. Later that week I saw that many people started getting notifications of a back order, especially those who ordered the Plus Jet Black. The day before release day of the iPhone I received an email from BestBuy explaining how I would not be able to get my iPhone on release day as promised due to a back order. Why did I give it 5 stars if I didn't get my iPhone on time? Best Buy compensated me with a $100 gift card since my phone was delayed. They guaranteed my iPhone being delivered to me no later than Oct 7 (I received it Sept 30) and I got a free $100 to Best Buy. I have many friends who ordered from their carrier or through Apple directly and didn't get compensated in anyway! As for the iPhone 7+, it is great! Although the main features are all the same, if you had the iPhone 6S there is no need to upgrade at the time because there are not many changes. I had the 6 before this and am pleased with my 7+ 256GB so I never run out of memory. I already have Bluetooth headphones the missing headphone jack is irrelevant to me and the fact that it's water resistant makes me at ease when using it while using it during water sports.

I have used every iPhone made 2g, 3G,3GS,4,4s,5,6,6S,SE and the iPhone 7. I was hesitant at first at getting the larger screen on the 7Plus. After using it I couldn't imagine going back. The cameras are absolutely stunning on it. The images close up and far away both are wonderful. Of course the way iTunes manages music is ingenious. Battery life is excellent on it. Of course there are a lot of complaints about a headphone jack. I use Bluetooth on it anyway so it doesn't bother me one bit. It does come with an adapter for headphones and a set that are lightning plugged. Oh! And the speakers are like stereo surround and loud. The phone is absolutely a work of art. If your thinking about going up to the 7Plus, I would do it you won't regret it.

Battery life was killing my ability to stay connected so it was time move to next the latest and greatest model. Luckily the battery fire issue had been remedied by the time I purchased. Much more memory on board this phone and the battery life has lasted echo and everyday so far. It has been a win/win!

I wont waste time and space telling you about how great, secure, stable, user friendly, slick and pretty iphones are. The 7+ is a good large phone with a brilliant screen, large display and the most amazing camera ever. Camera - Dont go by the megapixels that competition keeps throwing at their phones, this phone has the best cameras. Even the back cameras are dual cameras BTW. Try the portrait feature - Wow! Esthetics - The phone is very large and if you prefer something handy, get the 7 Battery - Great battery life - last me close to two days Whats new compared to 6+ = not much, apple needs to work harder, they are ruining it for everyone. the only major upgrade I see is the camera.

We upgraded from the iPhone 6 Plus to the 7 Plus. The new ones are much more responsive with the upgraded processor. The improved fingerprint sensor is also hugely improved. The phone is unlocked almost instantly upon putting your digit on the sensor. The camera is also a huge upgrade, particularly in low light. All in all, we love the phones (bought two, one for me and one for my wife). Our only complaint is the price. You simply cannot find a better device but at some point soon the price of these things is going to maybe make us just deal with something else.

I love my iPhone 7 Plus! I had the iPhone 5 and upgraded to the Samsung Note 7 (thought I'd try something different) and we all know its was recalled (glad it was because iPhone is way easier to use) so I went with the iPhone 7 Plus and couldn't be happier. It is loud enough and the headphone jack well let's just say you get used to it. Love the new IOS and size of the phone. Plus all this storage is Awesome!!

I needed to upgrade my iPhone 5s and the 7plus was the perfect phone for me. Huge screen, great upgraded features and of course easy to use! Love it!!

The Iphone plus 256GB is a great smart phone. The best feature in my opinion is the camera which takes amazing quality pictures. Screen resolution & processing speed are the best yet. Also, that it's water resistant is a huge step up. I've never been a Samsung smart phone owner so I cannot compare the products against each other. However, this phone is awesome.

I went from the iPhone 6 Plus to the iPhone 7 Plus and wouldn't ever go back! The only downer I've really noticed is the battery life isn't as good as my old phone. It's nice that they finally upped the storage as well. While I never really had an issue, 256GB is definitely a ton of storage. The cameras are great so far and everything on this phone is insanely quick!

I love the responsiveness and speed of this iPhone 7 Plus. My previous iPhones were all 16GB...so having a 256GB was so convenient by not having to worry about enough file space for a HD video or photos. The Jet Black model is so sleek and elegant! The dual camera lens is phenomenal and multiple zoom/macro feature is incredible with 4k dpi quality!
