I bought the IPhone 8 to replace my 6s because my battery was terrible. I don't have to charge my 8 during the day anywhere, which was huge for me. There are still some bugs in the iOS 11 but nothing to reduce the rating of the phone.

I shoulda bought the Apple X, I shoulda bought the Apple X...oh well. This is a fine phone - just not a "great" phone. There are a few annoyances such as the "home" button being recessed below my glass screen cover so it's take a couple of tries to use it. Also, those pop-up "missed phone call" notifications often stick when trying to delete them. I've actually had to power down to get rid of some of them only to have them reappear 3 days later. A odd glitch to be sure. It's also heavier than my former Apple 5S-not a big issue however. All in all, it does the job.

Early Christmas present for my wife. Apple seems to work hard on updates that keep things secure and smooth running. Great phone that is fast. Nice looking and does everything you expect from a top of the line cell phone.

I upgrade my phones and my kids phones every other year and I am never disappointed with the results. The iPhone 8 speed and unique look of the glass back. Live up to the Apple standard with ease. Great job Apple!

Battery life is excellent. Camera is better than previous models.

Phone loads pretty fast, nice camera, music sounds better somehow. And of course, most user friendly, hands down!

I haven’t had an iPhone since my 4s I decided to switch to Samsung now back to iPhone I love it battery life is fantastic I use it listening to music about 6 hrs at work and after an 8 hr shift I have 85% battery life still I charge the phone every other day it’s kool not having to worry if the phone will run out of battery

I already have iPhone 8. I needed another one for my business. This is the best phone before they started making 10, 11, 12 to me. It’s the basis of each of them! Excellent quality I love the 8. I’ve waited a could months for it to be in stock. Dedication huh... price range is good and never had or never will have a problem with this model. Enjoy I highly recommend this iPhone 8.

The iPhone we purchased was outstanding but what was more outstanding was the sales service we received from Dan, from your Westbury, NY store, who was not just incredibly knowledgeable and pleasant but he’d only been with Best Buy for three weeks. We thought we were dealing with a management person by the way he handled everything. Dan deserves a raise as he is clearly an outstanding person who should be groomed for management and I should know as a retired VP/CIO who knows electronics inside and out. No, I don’t know Dan personally. Ron Tomo

What more to say. Apple I Phone 8. It is all that I expected and more. Thousands of positive reviews say it much better than me. I am not not a techno person but I find it easy to use and love it.

I wanted to upgrade my old iPhone and I was going back and forth between the 7 or the 8. I decided to spend the extra money for the 8 because of the wireless charging capability. I recently bought a new truck with a wireless charging pad so I was excited to use it, only to find out that it is not compatible with iPhone devices. Talked to Chevy and they need to test the device first and since it's so new it could take a while. So now I have a new phone that can't be charged wireless and a new truck that charge my wireless phone. Apple get on the stick....why are you so behind Android! Waist of an extra $150. Should have gone with the 7. Doesn't seem to have that many new features to me and I upgraded from a 5S. My advice wait till they fix the wireless issue. One positive it does come standard with 64GB memory. The rose gold color is pretty but you can't see it with my case on so it doesn't really matter.

The iPhone 8 is a blend of old-school and new-school feel and design. You'll find many of the same features from the iPhone 4, 5 and 6 built in this model. What stands out to me is the progression of the technology and the need to access information more accurately. The iPhone achieves this goal. A++ overall.

First off, my battery life was down to 83% capacity, so the phone would need recharging before the end of my work day. I didn’t want to pay a large amount for monthly charges, however Best Buy offered this phone and plan at a GREAT rate. This phone has more memory and faster than my old 6. Granted it’s Gold color however with the Otterbox I have on it, you can’t see the Gold. Thanks Best Buy.

Love the iPhone 8... and really appreciate the help I received at Best Buy in getting the phone all set up and running. There was no waiting - immediately after I purchased the phone a rep was helping me transfer all of my data and contacts from the old phone to the new one. I was out of the store within 15 min. So much quicker than other stores I’ve purchased phones at before. Thanks Best Buy - I’ll be back for my next iPhone purchase!

Everything I read about the 8 is amazing. I just came from a 6 and my experience is a day to night difference. It’s clearer, sharper, faster, and just flows. I don’t have the plus for the portrait feature but I still love my pictures. They’re really crisp. Don’t know if this feature is new to 8 but on photo mode you can change the color mode before taking the pictures that’s interesting. There’s a free app I found for creative editing that starts with Pris and that’s real fun. My phone is beautiful I love looking at it. It’s silver it’s so pretty I had to find a nice clear case so I can admire it. Got it on opening day and I have nothing to complain about.

I've always had Android. This is my first iPhone. The iPhone has an easier learning curve. So far I like the phone. It's very responsive. I have no complaints. Happy with the purchase.

Decided to upgrade because of an AT&T offer. Purchased an iPhone X and got this iPhone 8 free. This is a noticeable upgrade from a 6S. Phone looks similar, but noticeably quicker. One nice feature that we are not using yet, but hoping to soon is the wireless charging ability. Will be nice not to have a plug the phone in to charge it. Personally the Plus is just a little to big of a phone for us. Not going to get into the iPhone X review here, only to say it is a great phone. If I was purchasing a phone and trying to decide between the two, I would get the X. Great screen. Once you get use to no home button, I find it easier to use.

I did not intend on upgrading my phone until I dropped the 6s I had and cracked the screen. I am very happy that I upgraded. The 8 is so much faster and the graphics are great.

Great phone, takes great pics and videos. Slim, lightweight, fast & good battery life.

Outside of the normal improvements, I find that the camera on the iPhone 8 is eons better than previous models. I don't see myself leaving the Apple phone family anytime soon.
