I'm actually writing this review on my new iPhone SE 16gb. This is the first truly new phone I've ever had, having traded up from a Samsung Galaxy S3, and I'm hooked! The interface is much more intuitive on iOS 9.3.1 than any other Apple device I'd tried, combining already-standard features like Touch ID and Safari with newer features more common to the 6S, such as video capture along with photos, 4K video, and Night Mode (very useful for night owls like myself). The size also makes it much more convenient than the bulkier phones I've had, with a gorgeous display, and the battery life is phenomenal. I'd had to charge my Galaxy as much as three times a day, only two if I kept my data turned off most of the time, but with constant use, the SE lasts about 30 hours. The one attribute I'd change would be to add an SD slot for memory expansion, but that's really minor. For big-time content buffs, I might suggest the 64gb model. For my needs, though, the 16gb is the ideal mixture of advanced and inexpensive. Apple really swung for the fences this time, and I'm loving it!

I've bought 5 other iPhones for myself & my wife over the yrs - the 3G, 3GS, 5, 5S, & 6S. This SE is my 6th, which I bought for my son. It's almost perfect. I wish it came in a 32gig option tho. It only came in 16 or 64 & I didn't want to spring an extra $100 for 64gigs for a 14-yr-old. Of course he filled it up w/in 2 wks & started to complain. The other thing is that the metal shell is not very hard. There was a few day period when the phone did not have a case on it & during that period it got a dent. That shouldn't happen. At the unlocked price of $400, this was the best iPhone for the $.

This is a great up to date phone for either those that has cost or size concerns. The smaller screen makes a great phone for those who don't want to carry a tablet size device in their pocket while the lower price point is nice for those who don' wish to spend a fortune on a new phone. All the while Apple managed to keeps the hardware up to date with fast processor and lots of memory.

In the short time I have had it, the Iphone Se has proven to be a quality phone at a more affordable price. It has been working well, with good sound, clearer text, an excellent battery, and good camera capability. So far I am pleased with how well it works.

This phone offers excellent speed in the compact form identical to the iPhone 5. The innards and camera are a big upgrade from the 5, but you're not carrying around a laptop!
