PROS: -Blazing fast -Gorgeous OLED display -12MP dual-lens rear Camera, 7MP front camera -Face ID works pretty well CONS: -You'll have to take out a second mortgage to afford it -Some apps are still buggy, don't take advantage of full screen -It's a new style of phone, so the learning curve might be high for some JURY'S STILL OUT ON: -Battery life -Security -Durability I've had this phone for a little more than 24 hours now, and my initial thoughts are "wow". This phone is amazing! It's a beautiful phone to look at, what about the new features? How's not having a home button, for instance? Truth is, I'm starting to like it even more. Swiping feels more natural on this phone than clicking a button, and pulling out your phone to check a notification, and it automatically recognizes you and unlocks is really nice. I'd say it's quicker than having a fingerprint reader, but is it more secure? Apple says it is (1-50,000 chance of some random person getting into your phone with bio-metric scanner, to 1-1,000,000 with FaceID), but time will tell. It works as advertised. It even works in the dark. It does have difficulty on a flat surface, but for me, it's not a big deal. The display is AMAZING. Perfect blacks, without color over-saturation. It is very pleasing to look at. What about the battery life? It's hard to say. I have been able to get through an entire day's use with it, but since I have only had it for 24 hours, I can't tell you about long term. Apple says 21 hours of talk time, and 13 hours of internet time, and so far, I've had no reason to doubt that. Which goes into my next topic: durability. Will it last for a long time? At $1,000 it better be good quality, and being an Apple product, that's a safe assumption. The phone looks very well-built. Premium components went into this phone, and you can tell. It's water-resistant up to 3 feet, dust, scratch, and fingerprint resistant, as well. I've not tested it in water (and have no plans to), but from the surface, this phone is very solidly built. I'd still recommend getting a good case and screen protector, though (as I would with any new phone). Is it worth the extra money? Yes and no. It's a unique, but also a better experience than past iPhones, but if you really like Apple's style they've had since iPhone 6, and dead-set on keeping that style, you might not like the new one. Much of the hardware is similar in the X as it is in the 8+. The main selling points and differences on this phone is the OLED display, which, in my opinion, is the best on any phone, EVER, the rear dual-lens camera with optical image stabilization on both lenses (only one OIS on one lens on the 8+), and FaceID. If you don't need the extra goodies, then you'll be happy with the iPhone 8+, or at the minimum, the iPhone 8. But, if you're willing to drop the money for this phone, and you're ready for a new experience, I'd say you won't be disappointed. Great phone!

Have had for a month, works great no problems with facial recognition. I do not miss the home Button. no problems apple at its best.

Great iPhone the face recognition works great and not having a home key actually works better. It’s fast and the screen provides very clear pictures.

We got this phone for my wife who is a serial iPhone user. She was moving from an iPhone 6 to this one. In the time that she has used it, she has had no complaints except that its a little on the heavier side. Camera is excellent and notch is not really a bother once you get used to it. overall, a solid apple product.

I was finally ready for an upgrade and was hesitant about switching from my iPhone 6 Plus. Worth the switch! I use my phone to watch TV shows, listen to music, take pictures and do all my work from it as well. Amazing speakers, quality camera and easy to use! I love my iPhone X and would recommend to anyone looking to switch.

The larger screen is great. The size of phone is perfect. Only bad thing is you have to learn how to do functions all over again.

The best iPhone I️ have ever had. Took a day or two to get used to the home button but tap to wake and raises to wake is awesome

I’m most impressed with the processing speed and camera of this device. I cannot recall the last time I used my Nikon camera to take photos. Plenty of space for all of my photos and apps. Also, I wasn’t impressed at first with the smaller phone, had the 7 plus, but the screen size and color definitely made me a believer.

Bought the iPhone X for the camera since it's rated #2 by DXO Mark. I was hella disappointed when there's barely light in the room and the flash kicks in. It ruins the pictures with red eyes. That for me was enough not to keep it. Very disappointed

UPGRADED FROM THE IPHONE 6 SO MANY OF THE NEW FEATURES ARE NICE TO HAVE AND THE BATTERY LIFE IS MUCH BETTER THAN MY OLD PHONE.

Upgraded from iPhone 6 to X. So far I haven’t had any issues. I knew it was a pricey phone, but so far I’m not disappointed.

I had the 6s + and had been very happy with it. I happened to be in Best Buy and just for kicks thought I’d try the X. I was so impressed that I upgraded. I’m very happy that I did. Audio is great, battery life is better, the camera with 2 lenses and a portrait mode with video is super. Very satisfied. Highly recommended.

I’ve only had this phone for a few days but I already am in love with it. They sound like feature works really well, much better than I thought it would. It took me a little getting used to on where everything is Changed such as there’s no home button, Notification Center has changed, etc. overall though I am thoroughly enjoying the face unlock feature. Some of the AR features are a lot of fun using me clips app. The screen also is quite stellar looking, much better than my iPhone 8+ screen.

The processor and storage are finally at a point where I’m not going to upgrade until this phone dies a natural death! It is a touch heavy

I was worried about adjusting to the lack of the home button, and all the new features but it was a super easy transition!!

I am an Apple user but I really love this phone. I thought the no home button would take some time to get use to but the scroll up motion to me is more natural I even find myself doing it on my android phone. The phone camera is great and durability seems good I’m not usually rough with my phones though. I have dropped it and it has servived. One issue is the ringer volume seems to adjust itself without me doing anything especially after I have had my AirPods in. I love the size not to Big and not to small. I just need a 6plus and it was huge.

I bought an iPhone X as a gift for my daughter. It has a lot of great features and fabulous camera. She likes it very much.
