If you have used a XS or XS Max, the XR may be a disappointment. However, if, like me, you enjoy being able to use your cell phone for actual phone calls, you may find the XR more reliable. From what I can tell, the XR uses a different antenna than the XS and XS Max. When the XS antenna works, it’s amazing! However, I had horrific luck getting the XS to hold a call, even with ample tech support. The XR is more reliable, but the camera and screen are major down-grades from the XS. If you don’t care that much about the camera and screen (I.e., resolution and color range), you may be super pleased with the XR. Personally, I miss my XS, but I am unwilling to pay over $1000 for a phone that does not work correctly. So, the XR will do for now. In my opinion, Apple really dropped the ball with these 2018 releases. Thanks, Apple, for making a long-term, loyal Apple user consider switching to Android.

So many features. Despite the fact that it has an LCD screen instead of the OLED screen on the more expensive models, the picture quality is great. My friend has the XS Max and I can barely tell the difference between the screens.

Great battery life especially compared to my old iphone7. Quick response. Love the facial recognition and knows the difference between my sister and I (even my mom mixes us up sometimes).

Bought this for my wife. Awesome battery life, and the red color is unique.

It was pretty but more beneficial to upgrade to the XS for the camera, the antenna, and the size is better.
