Happy I broke my old phone

Was hesitant to upgrade but very happy I did. Great photos and videos on a recent trip to Africa. The facial recognition is nearly perfect and much easier to unlock this way. Never missed the home button but do miss the headphone jack. The adapter I bought doesn’t work with the phone on my Bose headphones. The price is high but the utility is also high.

Great phone and has more features than I use. The phone is larger than an iPhone 6,7, or 8, so keep that in mind when buying. The screen is bright and works well. The phone is very responsive to touch and chip is fast. There is more than enough memory for most users and the camera is certainly upgraded.

Upgrade from 7 Plus to Xs

Great features, fast processor, and excellent camera. I debated making the change because I liked the screen on the 7 Plus, but the features included on the Xs, the lighter weight of the phone and full screen view make it worth the upgrade. I’ve had the phone for two weeks and have only positive things to report. Very happy with my decision.

Oh yes android users will say that I’ve been drinking Apple’s kool aid too long and they may be right, but they are drinking their own brand so what’s the diff? Anyway it probably falls into the ‘what you’re used to’ / ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ categories so I’ve been using Apple since before they almost went under in the late 90’s and it was Microsoft rules at the time, so android has replaced them in the phone market... so I do generally love their stuff.
Anyway, it’s a great iPhone. If you love iPhones and can stomach the price tag (hello $150 off special plus 18 months no interest and business expense write off!) you’ll probably love it. I came from the iPhone 7. Love the bigger nicer screen and better camera all in about the same size (slightly bigger). Sure, it’s not for everybody and if the Xr had a deeper blue color same camera and max storage avaliboe I would’ve probably gotten it, but it’s your thing so what you wanna do... as for the price, I guess miniaturization always came at a heftier price tag so since this is basically a hand held computer not just a phone it makes some sense why they are so $$$$$$$$$$$

Compared to my 6 this phone is awesome! The main thing I don’t care for is the fact that they took the finger print away. Other than that the phone is an awesome upgrade. I love some of the new features, such as, the camera, the screen clarity, the battery life, and the speed at which the phone runs. All in all a great upgrade if you haven’t purchased a new iPhone in awhile.

First the service a Best Buy was awesome. Quick and professional. The phone is amazing. Was skeptical of the facial recognition, but I am addicted now. Great feature. Phone is super fast compared to iPhone 7 and screen is incredible. Highly recommend.

I bought this around Black Friday as an upgrade from my 6S.
Anything new is always better, usually. It’s much faster than my 6S and it has more features, some of which I won’t use.
The phone screen is slightly bigger than my 6S, which is fine and battery life seems to be about the same with the time spent on my phone. The battery probably won’t go an entire day with daily web surfing, shipping, emailing, texting, calls, and listening to music here and there.
The camera is much better and the portrait mode is a real game changer if you get a chance to use it and edit the photo. The speakers are also much louder before I forget. Not bad sound quality.
I wish they didn’t get rid of the home button. This Face ID thing is annoying if you don’t have look directly in the camera. It works, but I don’t care for it.
Lastly the only things that I noticed and don’t care for is that one month after buying this phone the vibration motor died and it had to be fixed under warranty at no cost. I wish they would have replaced it. I don’t care that it was a replacement part. It’s no longer a new to me; more like refurbished and I had to reload all of my data and settings.
The other issue was that I was unable to connect to a public WiFi the other day while someone I was with could do it just fine on her iPhone X. I troubleshot it, but no luck.
It works otherwise.

Coming from a 7 plus I love the size of the phone. It has more screen space than my old one and fits in my pocket much easier. The screen is crystal clear and responsive to the touch even with a protector installed. Face ID is a big upgrade, beats thin Touch ID and entering a password any day.

Handed down my iPhone X to my kid so I upgraded to the XS with higher storage due to Apple Music downloads. A little snappier in every way but not huge leaps. The camera is noticeably better though. I tried the gold version on a whim and I like it even though I keep it in an apple smart battery case

It was time for a new phone! Bought the iPhone XS and love it! Still getting used to it as my other phone was an iPhone 5, what a difference. Crystal clear photos, battery life is excellent, and it is easy to operate. I buy all my electronics at Best Buy. Great service and help. I love my new phone!!

Yes, I apparently bought the iPhone that nobody didn’t want, the iPhone XS,(Now discontinued) but I really think this is the perfect phone for me. It’s got 3 gigs of RAM so everything just runs extra smooth and silky, the AMOLED screen is a welcome plus for my aging eyes, iOS 13 runs beautifully on this iPhone, also, the XS still has 3D Touch, which Apple has now done away with. Fit and finish is top notch as expected from Apple. This phone has a smaller screen then the iPhone 10R, 5.8 vs. 6.1, but the XS’s screen has more vibrant colors and it’s just easier on the eyes to me, compared to the 10R’s screen. Also with a 256 Gig storage capacity, there plenty of room for my stuff. If you are looking for a premium quality phone with excellent build quality and in a smaller package with a powerful processor that will last you several years, the iPhone XS is definitely worth a look before they are all gone.

I finally gave up on Android and my Samsung Note 9 after purchasing a 2018 MacBook Pro.
I wasn't displeased with my Note 8, but the iPhone just works.
My only gripe with the iPhone and iOS for that matter is the fact they there is no included secure folder. Samsung really has the leg up by allowing users to have a secure section of their phone to run apps, and store data.
I can get over the idea of not having flash storage on the iPhone because of the storage sizes you can purchase, but not having a legitimate secure storage area is mind-blowing.
I store plenty of documents on my phone for quick access at work that I would prefer to keep in a secure folder. I know the iPhone encryption is better than its competitors but that doesn't stop someone from flipping through your entire phone when they have access to it.
Overall, the iPhone XS is a great upgrade if you are coming from an older iPhone. I am not sure I would have upgraded had I had an iPhone X though. The lack of a home button and Touch ID was a concern to me, but Face ID is so great that it really is a nonissue.
Do not fear the lack of Touch ID. You will soon forget it ever existed with this phone.

This is a great upgrade from my old iPhone. Love the battery length along with the screen. Still learning to get used to not having a home button but the Face ID is convient for unlocking various apps. Overall this is a great new phone and I’m enjoying learning all it can do.

After many years having an Android phone, I made the switch to the I-Phone Xs. So far I have found the switch to be quite easy, despite my hesitancy about making the change. The Xs has a lot of great features and are easy to use. However, it is a pricey phone choice.

Although I shoot with a DSRL camera, many iPhone XS shots are comparable, especially on an overcast day, landscapes. But it’s the speed between apps and processing that amazes me about Apple. And ease of use helps me get through complicated transactions.

Truly a game changer!! From the screen size and clarity, to the Face ID and the overall ease of use with this phone, there's really no need to consider any other model. Have owned iPhones since the iPhone 4, and must say, this is the best one so far!!

Fast and Fluid + Incredible Camera

I moved from an iPhone 7 Plus to the XS and really don’t regret a thing. While the larger screen of an XS Max is definitely enticing, the sheer size of those plus sized phones in the pocket and hand makes them pretty cumbersome at times. The form factor of the XS seems just right to me and the overall performance on this thing is incredible. So far I have not experienced any lag and everything just seems fluid and responsive as you would expect. It’s almost so fluid that you somewhat take it for granted. The camera is very fast to open, focus and takes great pictures in most lighting situations.

I’ve always been a iPhone user since I could use a phone. I chose the iPhone XS this time opposed to the new iPhone 11 due to the display. The iPhone 11 and the XR, (which is what I had before this,) they have the Retina display. I never had any complaints with it. However when it was time to upgrade I learned that the XS has the OLED SUPER RETINA display. (Same as X, 11 Pro and up.) so instead of the regular 11, I chose the XS so I could have the better screen without paying for the new 11 Pro. Let me tell you, I’m so glad I did!! Everything thing you’re looking at on the screen is way more vibrant and filled with details. I absolutely love this phone and the SUPER Retina display, double camera and the fact that it’s not bulky and heavy are my favorite features!

Same screen size and smaller phone. I was used to the iphone7s plus screen size but the phone was too big. It was too big for my pocket. This phone solved that problem. The face recognition is a nice feature and camera quality is excellent.
