Upgraded from the iPhone 8. Camera is good quality and the battery life last longer. Facial recognition is a plus.

awesome screen! fast! face ID is now a must! took a little to get used to but now I prefer it over the last iPhones with touch ID.

I bought this to replace an I phone 5. Pros: Faster, Face ID works well and the battery will last for 2 to 3 days depending on usage. If you are streaming Netflix or other video it will last less. Cons: For me the size is to big. It looked like it would be fine but in actual use I found it to be to large. Hard to handle with one hand. If you have large hands or like a larger phone it may be fine as the other aspects of the phone are good but I really missed the ability to handle the phone with one hand that the 5 gave to me. I will be looking to switch when I find something smaller and easier to handle. Would I buy again - No

Huge upgrade from my 6S, absolutely love the screen, size, camera, everything. Big improvement from the 6S I am coming from.

Had an 8 plus and the XS is better. Easier to hold and better for texting. Camera is better and face recognition is sweet!

Finally upgraded from an iPhone 6s. It took me a few days to get used to not having a home button, but I've gotten the hang of it. I was hoping Apple would've released one in 128 GB, but I suppose that will come later; the extra space will definitely help out. The sound is nice when playing music. And the lack of a headphone jack doesn't bother me, as I never really used it. Takes excellent pictures. And the resolution is amazing. Definitely worth the upgrade for me!

Great price for a 1/2 TB of storage on a phone. Not going to find too many of these around any longer. While 5G is still new, (and this is not a 5G phone) I think this device has the best overall features combined into a single package as compared to all the other iPhones released to date, even the iPhone 12! The only other phone that was better than the rest for its time was the iPhone 4s.

Traded a iPhone 6 Plus for iPhone X’s. Slimmer but about same screen surface,easier to hold. Camera great!

Led screen is unreal! The screen goes all the way to the edge of the phone. Camera is awesome! Didn’t know if I would like it without the main button on the front. After about five minutes. Realized should of been this way the whole time. Only bad thing. I wouldn’t even say it’s a con. But the whole phone is glass! Very fragile! Feel like I’m holding a crystal egg! Get the Apple insurance and get a good case!

Increased storage & better camera a plus. Drawback is getting used to no home button.

I've had this for less than a week but love it so far. Of course I was using an iPhone 6 before, so this is obviously a big improvement - especially with screen clarity and taking pictures. I bought it on sale, but still think that it's overpriced for what I would have paid for a Samsung Galaxy. Unfortunately the sale-priced Galaxy that I wanted was sold out.

Compact phone, very fast and great resolution, camera is excellent

I switched from an iPhone 6 and couldn’t be more pleased. I love the face recognition and home swipe features - faster than the fingerprint sensor and home button. I considered the iPhone XR due to price, but wanted the Super Retina display and I have no regrets. Best Buy made the transition so easy - great service!
