Getting use to not having a home button. Took a day or two but now I like the way it operates without home button. The speakers on this phone are far superior to my 7+. I find it has a faster Processor then my 7+, and I like the movies I take @ 4K and 60fps. Yes it is expensive, as time passes and I forgot how much I spent, it is getting very close to saying it is worth it. Taking 4K movies @60fps I am glad I spent the extra $200 for the double storage.

The performance on this phone is amazing, battery life is great and love the fact that my screen goes all the way to the edge. The pictures taken from this phone are amazing and it comes with some new features. One thing I don't like is the fact that Apple used glass for the back again, and the phone is on the heavy side, maybe due to the big glass on the back

Easy to use and set up, awesome camera, screen size and long battery life

I get the newest phone each year but I might finally be able to hold for a few years. Phone is fast, screen is gorgeous and since I have other components of the Apple Ecosystem, everything just works and I can get tons accomplished. I don’t game on my phone, it’s 85% work usage but with this new screen, I can do a ton more on my phone and iPad versus my MacBook Pro which is nice...would love some Apple Pencil support!

I have been an Android user for years but finally switched over to Apple because all of my family members had the phone. I was hesitant to buy this phone because the home button was missing but I have to say its allot more convenient to just swipe up. Also, I really love the Face ID feature. The camera takes great photos too. Overall a great value.

I had left Apple devices 5 years ago and vowed to never return. However, they have definitely surpassed any other device once again. This phone is the best phone I have ever owned. Rarely have to put it on charge. Camera is phenomenal and it allows me to do many things at once. I cannot imagine ever going back to the other msgs now that I have had the XS Max!

M usually not the one that buys every iPhone every year but I’m glad I got this phone this year. Perfect for what I need to do. Screen is massive and it helps me with my fading eyesight lol. Holds battery power like crazy but if you want a quicker charge get that fast charger. I already had a portable power pack that works pretty fast with it. Apps open up super fast too!

I will start this review with confessing I am a die hard iPhone fan. I have had every every iPhone Apple has made. I love this phone. Although it’s similar to the X this camera is better in my opinion. I’ve always liked lots of memory on my devices. Lots of storage for music, photos and videos. I am glad to have a bigger screen again. Great job IPhone

I’ve bought every other iPhone over the last 10years from the very first iPhone (pre-app Store) to the new iPhone XS Max and I can say without a doubt that Apple has outdone themselves. I never liked the “Plus” models as they felt to big in my hand but this phone is perfect. Beautiful screen, fast response and tons of memory. I’m a very happy camper!

Having had almost every iphone released, the XS Max 512 GB is a beast! The phone is fast and I have been impressed with the long battery life. The camera is exceptional and takes better pictures than my older DSLR. I can't brag enough about my decision to upgrade to the XS Max.

I went from a 6s Plus and upgraded to this and I love it. The camera on portrait mode is my favorite feature. It’s taking a while getting used to the whole no home button thing, but I’m getting the hang of it. I wish Apple didn’t do away with the headphone jack. Overall, it’s a great phone. Runs fast, battery is good- can’t complain.

I upgraded from a iPhone 7 Plus 256gb. Having double storage is going to be great. I use Dropbox, iCloud, iPhotos, and Spotify a lot. However most of the time at work M-F I have weak to none cellular or WiFi service! So I have to use the download and make available offline features for these cloud based services. I also enjoy the FACE Recognition for password protected sites and applications but sometimes I wish I could still have the touch option. Overall I am pleased I think I do notice that it’s a little faster but sometimes it really depends on my cellular or WiFi signal.

Enjoying the larger screen shaing the photos I take. No need to carry extra equipment like a camera because this phone takes great photos. It was an easy transition from the 6s to this upgrade. I recommended this phone to family and friends.

I think the size is perfect. Not bulky at all even with the protective case. Has a little bit of weight, more than enough storage, and wonderful camera. It takes a couple of hours to get a full charge but I’ve only had to charge it every other day with moderate social media and streaming usage.

This may not be Apple's current flagship phone, but I bought it due to the value it offers relative to Apple's current lineup. I know, I know...the iPhone 12 just around the corner, but I do NOT want to pay upwards of $1500 for a phone, albeit a very nice phone. That being said, this phone will satisfy 99% of the Apple iPhone users who are looking for a top notch phone without having to pay a top notch price. The 6.5" OLED is simply amazing, I can enjoy watching a movie on this brilliant screen. I think the one thing you give up on this phone vs the iPhone 11 Pro Max is the camera which the 11 Pro Max is clearly better. It's not to say the XS Max camers is bad; it will handle most camera needs. I bought the 512 Gb capacity which is probably overkill but I know I will never have to worry about running out of space to capture that awesome picture or video. You will not be disappointed with this phone.

The new XS Max is slightly smaller in size than the previous Plus generations, but the screen is much bigger. The phone itself is not too sturdy, as it cracked and chipped from dropping it from 1 foot in the air. Performance-wise, it’s very fast and the battery lasts a LONG time.

Just when you thought they couldn’t do anything more to a phone Apple stepped up their game again with the new phone. I love the Face ID, the edge to edge screen is awesome, the camera is even better than the already awesome one they already had. Everything about it is great!

Overall, this phone is fantastic. I have owned every single iPhone since the iPhone 4 and I truly enjoy the iOS ecosystem. I agree that they are way overpriced, but you get what you pay for. Quality craftsmanship and quality parts cost money to make, so it is understandable. The massive screen looks great, as to be expected. The cameras are good, but not as good as the Pixel 3 XL. Battery life is PHENOMENAL! I can easily get two full days out of this phone (I am on it a lot, but I take many steps to make sure I get the best battery life possible [shutting off background refresh, shutting down apps, shutting off Bluetooth and wifi when not in use, etc.]). Overall, you will love this phone, as long as you can deal with how big it is.

My husband and I Upgraded and switched providers. I am very impressed with how user friendly this iPhone is and I LOVE the portrait mode. the camera quality is amazing! It took a little getting used to no home button but after a while you get the hang of it.

Phone is great -it's snappy and seems to be able to handle everything you throw at it. I was an android user for many years but Android's seem to always have performance issues only a year or so out of the box no matter what phone you get. It just became too much to maintain. iPhone's and iDevices typically "just work". Not only that but the quality of the build on this phone is top notch. (no pun intended) There is a "notch" at the top but I quickly became used to it being there and it almost feels as though you're still getting extra screen because of the massive size. The top part of the screen that isn't the notch turns into a functional way to access notifications and the control center. It cam be quite a reach for a lot of users, but for me I don't really have an issue. Speaking of notifications, the way Apple handles them leaves something to be desired - I'll give Android credit on how they handle notifications. Sometimes it seems I don't see all of my notifications that come through, and when they do it's a little daunting to think about all the different things you can do with a notification, when all you need to do is either view it, or clear it. Grouping also causes issues when you just want to view one of many notifications, but it's sometimes hard to see just one notification and clear the rest. Either way, i'm nit-picking. It's a great phone, albeit VERY expensive. I do believe this phone will last for many years to come despite iOS slow-downs that are sure to come.
