This may be a good product for simply listening with headphones, but totally useless if you plan on using it with your car audio system. Bluetooth pairs, but will not play correctly. Plug via USB and system will not read nano. After reading through forums I discovered that apparently apple doesn't want their products to work with car audio systems and who knows what else. So, if you want a player to work with your car audio system, do not buy anything made by apple. Sad because older ipods work no problem.

Hello, I got the iPod Nano latest gen 16gb and was very disappointed with the FM stereo and the Bluetooth. First I could never get the Nano bluetooth to pair with another device. Second you will need to use Apple's earbuds for the FM radio, sure you can use another pair however the antennae is the headphone jack and a regular set of headphones will work but you will get poor reception compared to the Apple earbuds, this is a deal breaker for me since I don't like earbuds and prefer over the ear headphones. I am retunring this and I am terribly disappointed in this product and shocked that Apple would create a product like this.

I had a generation 3 ipod that died. Replaced it with generation 7. Had to return to the Apple store to get directions on how to "SYNC". Was greeted by curt employee. After 10 minutes of being shuffled from one employee to another, I finally got someone to show me what needed to be done. It was not at all the way the on line manual described. After hours of "SYNCING" I found the battery would not recharge in my dock. You have to charge the battery off your computer or buy a charger that you plug into the wall plug. Either way, it is a pain and the battery only lasts about 3 hours. Not the 30 hours in the product description. I am hugely disappointed and would not even recommend to an enemy.

This product worked for less than two weeks. Each generation of i-pod seems to be worse than the one before. I-pod stopped working approximately 2 weeks after purchased. Started with random voice over that repeats despite voice over being "off." Reads down playlists and repeats (this problem is noted in multiple forums and reviews all over the internet). Day after voice over issue began would play about 5 seconds of track and then repeat name of song and artist over and over. Tried every fix recommended nothing worked. Complete garbage. Apple should be ashamed.

This product is a Worthless! I bought this for the purpose of using while I work out. After 5 minutes of being on, the music becomes segmented, as it starts and stops while playing. Very frustrating because it affects my ability to concentrate when I work out. It's like the music is skipping. I exchanged it at my local Best Buy and the reps were very helpful. The one I exchanged it for does the exact same thing. Not happy at all with this product! Apple dropped the ball with this one! Very unsatisfied with this product.

This item was a Christmas gift. I was looking forward to using it, however, this item is not user friendly. It requires that you download itunes software in order to download any music. I have over 3,000 CDs and 1,000 vinyl records and this Ipod will not allow me to directly download my own music. For this reason I returned the Ipod and will continue using my old Ipod. Sad that Apple does not allow the customer to decide what and how to download but forces you to use their software.

The device has not worked since I purchased it. I finally figured out the earplug hole in the Nano does not work. Best Buy customer service was totally unconcerned and directed me to the Apple Store 45 minutes away. I still have no resolution. Don't think you will find online help from Apple or anywhere else. I am totally frustrated with this purchase. I have made big purchases in the past at Best Buy but after this experience I will go elsewhere.

I would not recommend this to anyone it sucked. I could never get the songs to go to the iPod Nano from iTunes. I followed the instructions and the instructions were totally different then what I was seeing the iTunes software had been updated since the instructions and the layout of the software was totally different than that of the instructions. I don't know if the Nano was defective butt I could never get any songs to transfer to the Nano.

Looked forward to a Bluetooth ipod. Got the latest version. Would not sync to my itunes. Made sure I had the latest software. Nothing. Called apple support. Said I needed latest soft ware. I said I know. They were no help. Tried downloading software again. Said device driver was not loaded. WTF. Tried a couple more times. Then the ipod locked up . Took it back. I'll stick with my old one

The ipod won't sync to my laptop to transfer music. Very frustrating! By the time I realized it wasn't my itunes app or my laptop that was the issue, it was past the 15 days to exchange/return it. Now apple will try to fix it or send me a refurbished ipod. RIDICULOUS!! I didn't even get to use it and now I may be getting a used/refurbished one?! I am not happy!

I was mislead by the sales person. I informed him what I wanted and he assured me that the Nano was the right thing. I explained to him that I had a little over 3,000 songs in my Itunes library and he assured me that the Nano could hold my songs. It could not. I put a few of my favorite playlists on it but I am still not satisfied. I wish I could trade it in. Is that possible?

I've never been a fan of the Nano. The iPod classic is the best mp3 player by far because you got more storage and paid a fair price. Why would someone pay $149.99 for 16gb of storage when they can get four times that (64gb) with the iPod Touch for $299.99, paying only $150.00 more and quadrupling your storage size.

My old ipod was getting slow and the battery was always dying quickly, so i was excited to buy the new nano. I was disappointed because it was nearly impossible to change songs while running. The volume buttons are inconvenient and slow to respond. The touchscreen is cool but not an easy ipod to handle.

ITunes would not recognize it. Online search said this was a common problem. Lots of try this or try that, nothing worked. Returned it. iTunes wouldn't recognize an iPod. And they're ok with that.

This is advertised as an 8th generation ipod. The model on the unit I received was still just a 7th generation. Best buy is charging more for what the apple site says doesn't exist. I returned this and got the exact same unit for $20 cheaper at Walmart.

Have had a Shuffle for six years that works very well. Purchased the Nano and it would not sync with my PC Apple music library. Took the Nano to Best Buy for help. Told I had to bring my PC in with the Nano before they could help me. Returned the Nano for a refund.

in less than 6 months I'm already on my 2nd Nano due to problems that can not be fixed via remote interface with Apple Help Desk. Prior version of this product (without the touch screen) was MUCH better!!! Apple products definitely NOT the same quality as before.

After the second charge of the battery it quit taking a charge and only worked when plugged in. The store took it back and gave me a new one which did not have the wall adapter when it was opened. Thank goodness I had a wall adapter. Hope this one works.

This product will not turn on. My husband threw packaging away and waited several weeks before getting around to dealing with it so now we cannot return it and are stuck with a defective product. It never once turned on. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated.

I bought it as a gift mostly as a music player. I couldn't even get the radio working. It's the smaller than my thumb and doesn't come with a charger. Not worth the price and almost everything you do on it requires iTune purchases.
